Just looking for ideas, my car is not making the power it should be and hesitates at higher rpm when full boost hits. I have a hi flow turbo and thought this could be causing a boost cut but its only hitting 13psi max and was doing it with the std turbo at 10psi as well. The afm meter has been replaced and spark plugs changed. im thinking that it could be a knackered fuel pump or maybe a coil pack?? any help would be appreciated

lowlux: what chip did you use? do you have a larger fuel pump

i havent had any stalling probs except when cold with my powerup t2 bov. the fluttering on my car with no bov is louder than the noise the bov makes, so is it more rice for me to take it of or leave it on?? lol

hehe yeah last few times i ran at kwinana they didnt check licences that car looks very tough, put a series two front end on it if anything. is it auto or manual?

definately get one, other than theyre illegal theres no probs with em. advantages, all the oil blow by vapour doesnt get recycled back into you engine. normally this blow by ends up coating the inlet piping with oil, the vapour also effectively lowers the octane rating of the fuel making the motor prone to detonation Can get a jap one for around 2-300 or get a custom one like i did for alot less

an exh place should do it ok, there should be a few people on here in your area who can recomend a shop post some photos when your done, fitting a 600*300*75 cooler to mine this week also, just taking a while being an afterhours job

cheers mate, yeah the car is going good, cooler getting put in this w/e, ill come by some time show ya how it turns out. yeah id like to have a look at the link in the rb sometime within the month if thats possible. have you been in that car? what are your thoughts on it? main reason im looking at link is caus im workin at revlimit ms a subaru specialist and can get the link done for a good price

Alright i have done searches and asked plenty of questions but have got no answers so thought id start a new thread on the topic. Has anyone here had experience with the latest of the Link ECU's?? I have positive reports from a number of rex drivers, good fuel economy, better power, idle etc but no on here seems to want to say anything about them when used on a skyline. I know the first versions had poor fuel economy etc but apparently the new ones have solved previous problems. Any info would be appreciated IF you have had bad experiences or whatever with the Link please PM me so the thread stays open cheers

2.5" stainless 90deg bends are bout $25-30ea i was quoted (cost)

sweet cooler, mine is exactly the same (looks the same) got it for about the same price too. go for it people this is a quality cooler very cheap. i think around 500 is the minimum you could get it fitted with 2.5" stainless and tig welds.

any opinions in here on the Link ecu?? i think its mostly used in WRX's anyone have any experience with them in a skyline?? i have heard many good things about them in other cars (mainly rex's) but dont dont know of any in a 'line tho

what are your thoughts on the Link ECU??
