hey can any of you guys recommend an exh shop to go to?? i have a good jap muffler just wanted to get a decent dump/front pipe and run 3" mandrel to the muffler. interstate places seem to have dumps & 250-350 and i was thinking the pipe work to muffler would be around 250 also. just need to find a local place who does good work and wont try charge me 1k cheers fella's (the car is R31 GTS)

Gday people just looking for some advice on the import i am buying. It has arrived without aircon....no brackets, compressor nothing at all. Its all been removed, all that remains are some holes in the firewall. The importer has agreed to knock the price down by $500 and then when he has the parts(2nd hand) he will refit for the same price. What do ya's think, would it be possible to score all the parts needed out of a front cut....should i ask for more off the price or should i just take the extra money and do without the a/c seeing as i normally dont use it and the car will not be a daily driver. another issue i have is resale without a/c?? the car is R31 GTS RB20DET as pictured in avatar. cheers in advance regards, Nick

R31Heaven: hey dude yeah car arrived few days ago, went through autoco...looks pretty good got pic of it in avatatar with dealer plates...pick her up tomorrow ohh yess RB20lagwagon: there was an R30 with HUGE power on the net for sale a while ago...it had a yellow so he was selling ridiculously cheap (less than 15K i think) someone around here might know where it is etc

would this suit the older nics version rb20??

there is a guy on performanceforums who will hi-flo your turbo to T3/T4 specs for $1200 using all new parts. i have seen two (RB20) examples using a T3/T4 combo running deep into the 12's with stock internals, or around 300 rwhp(RB20lagwagon is one). there is also an R31 with a Vg30 turbs running 250rwhp and a 13.6 et'. from what others have said the Rb25 turbo has slightly less lag than the Vg but also less pwr potential.

running on gas also helps tough cars pass emissions testing i have heard 2c

hey dude, you will get an easy 10k for it in perth have seen less go for that much but depends on condition. i might be interested at that price as i have been waiting for my r31 since jan, i signed a contract with the importer (it is not a personal import) but the delivery date was for feb 20, wondering if this makes the contract void??? pm me more details on body & condition etc and we can go from there, i have the money just depends on the situation with the contract i have signed, cheers

i sorta have a 31, been on its way from japan for two months grrrr...importers have given me a loan car now tho i know of a 31 that ran 12.9 at the plex, moroon over silver two tone beast.

yeah seen it heaps around stirling area, on morley drive...has the front numberplate bent completely back into the air intake on the bumper

it quietened down the lifters in my old car, seemed to look after it...but i think its to expensive on a turbs car to change every 5k kms. try the search function, plenty has been said about it

im in perth, get it from west racing dunno bout melbourne tho...most places would sell it just ring around
