my r32 also has a strange rough idle.. not THAT rough.. but its annoying non the less.. as explained by my mechanic.. injector cleaner does generally work (sort of). They are more of a preventative measure rather than a cure.. meaning: injector cleaner will help keep your injectors clean thus you should use it every 2500 - 5000 km's. However.. if your injectors are already dirty.. injector cleaner will do little to clear them up.. best you get them pulled out and cleaned/flow tested.. situations vary though. I was thinking maybe the idle motor/o2 or thermo or the coil packs were dirty... who knows

lol you'll probably come across to your mechanic as insane and paranoid.. but yeah mine is kinda like that.. i think my coils are dirty.. need to get them cleaned

Hi guys.. Ok.. done a search already on this.. After installing a catback exhaust, it is making these POP noises when coasting in gear. Kinda like gun shots. My car (r32 GTST) is standard minus a pod filter, walbro fuel pump and catback exhaust. It is running 0.8 bar boost (13.5 almost 14psi) So I've concluded that I'm running rich and that the fuel is not getting burnt and shot into my exhaust which is hot.. where it ignites and makes the bang? I am correct so far right? Anyhow.. my questions are: how come my car is running rich with such very few modifications? what is the explanation behind this? How can i get it to run normal? It's come down to a retune or an SAFC. A Retune on a stock ecu running such little mods is stupid IMO.. but how much will it cost roughly? And how much rougly would it cost to install/tune a SAFC? how come there arn't camber tops for a 32?

is your mates car a R33 or R34. If so.. they are faster off the mark because of the extra 0.5 ltr displacement. It does wonders with the low end torque problem the RB20DET has. The solution is simple. Start saving for a new clutch.. and in the mean time do 7k/rpm launches lol.. Im sure u'll be faster then!

lol welcome to the world of skylines and lowered cars.. 1. could be due to a multitude of problems.. searching is the best option as stated above.. that or take it to a mechanic if you really have no idea and demonstrate the problem to him.. 2. check if there are still brake pads and that they havnt worn and dissapeared. if there still is brake pads visible it should be fine.. 3. you're aware of the whole 45 degree angle exit right? U must have seen lowered cars do it before.. a handy tip.. your rear of the vehicle is in most cases higher up than your front.. so drive your car in head first... then reverse your car out of your driveway. It will save you from scrapping mostly.. helps me anyway.. gl and have fun
