Calling All R32 Gtst Owners
chinkeboi replied to chinkeboi's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
cool.. the pics are decent.. but would be better if they were pictures focused on the pod area.. If someone has time or can be bothered you'd be a great help I'm sure some of you have specifically taken photo's of your pods in your engine bays I can make my setup no problem though I only need pics of other peoples setups to get an accurate idea of how i should design the box to make it universal for the r32 gtst.. Theres jack all room for error. I had a chance to start designing a template today.. its going to be pretty impossible to make a FULLY enclosed box.. though the design so far is looking promising.. I will keep you guys updated. -

R32 Type M Kit - + Extras
chinkeboi replied to Sl!m's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I've got dibs on the rear pods already! -
Just inspecting my engine bay today and noticed: Are these GTR headlights? Or do all R32 gtst's have these brackets on the headlights? I'm assuming they are the brackets for the gtr grill as I dont see any other point of them being there...... Just after confirmation, Thanks, Ben.

bump -
well it really depends.. if your going to use it more for drift or drag. it will be ALOT cheaper to go the route of the GTR. Running conversions and doign things in stages will cost you an arm and a leg in labour/time/parts plus.. who doesnt want a gtr

Hi guys... as summers drawing nearer I think we all need to think of ways to beat the heat so to speak. I'm wanting to start making a prototype heat shield for the R32 GTST. No one makes heat shields for this car/ well i havnt found any decent ones on the market. So i'm asking for your help. I plan to make one for myself. and then i'll post up the pictures of the finish product. If there is enough interest I will get more made up to sell. The price shall be average as I plan to use decent grade aluminium and planning to get them professionally cut/bent. I've figured why theres a lack of heatshields for our car. There is jack all room if you are running the stock intercooler: how you can help: Can you please upload pictures of your pod area in your engine bay so I can get an idea of how every1's setup looks like. also, anyone with pictures of their r32 gtst with a heatshield already please upload them as well so i can gather ideas . Also, would there be a preference of a box or an apexi heat shield kinda design. Thanks, Ben.

Fiberglass Cold Air Induction Box.
chinkeboi replied to Silent's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I would be definitely keen for an R32 one. It would be better if it was made in alluminium like mr crusts ones... and i dont think everyone has the CAI hole where you do so maybe some sort of universal hole for cold air might be in order? Let me know, Ben. -
Hi Mr. Crust. Would you consider making a heat shield setup similar to this one for the R32 Gtst if there was enough interest?
-
very keen on one made up for the R32 I'm sure there are heaps of others out there too! If ever there is one made up please PM me. No one sells decent heat sheilds for the R32. there is plenty of money to be made. You should even consider selling this products to other shops for distribution!

This Is Why You Keep It To The Track
chinkeboi replied to Phantom32's topic in General Automotive Discussion
LOL at that tunnel of death vid.. the 2 trucks crash and flip and the first thing the guy that stopped behind them can think of is to signal left and try and get past them.. like literally 3 seconds after they had flipped -
There should be a sticky made of this type of topic i.e. GTST TO GTR. WazR32GTSt: mind me asking how much you sourced that front bar for and how much it costed to fit it?

Hi, to all you R33 series 2 owners. I was looking for a 21st bday present for a friend. Since he bought his car his always had only 1 key which was the original. He's tried to cut it but the key cutters have all told him they can't cut his key as he needs to order one from nissan. I've checked the cars the nismo keys are suited for and the R33 is on there, although I'm not sure if its series 2 or not.. Can anyone confirm that it does indeed work with R33 series 2 skylines?

Hi.. I was just wanting to know some more info about my own car. How much boost should it be running if it is dead stock minus a pod filter? Car: Nissan R32 Gtst I recorded the boost readings from the other night and it seemed to hold steady at 0.8bar (about 11 almost 12 psi). Is that normal for a stock car? I dont have an aftermarket ecu/boost controller? I got a video of it if anyones bored enough.. Also, how many rwkw's is a stock standard r32 gtst? I read the other day in another thread which I cant find anymore that it's about 110rwkw? That sounds abit low even if it is only an RB20DET? Any help is appreciated, Ben.

chinkeboi replied to Stavrosgtr32's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
44,000kms? i'm assuming thats after a rebuild of some sort right?.. very hot car though.. nice colour too.. reminds me of the calsonic group A gtr without the decals -
i just installed my razo pedals (bought from beefy autospeedbits.com) the pedals and brackets fit perfectly and clamp down tight enough! maybe some other brands might not be so good though... im sure most people dont care either.. but hey.. its the subtle differences that make the biggest difference for the driver and makes that particular car great. Ben.

Hi, currently trying to research exhausts.. I was wondering what the R32 Gtst owners out there thought about Buddy Club RACING SPEC III exhausts? How loud are they with and without the silencer they come with? I'm looking at getting a turbo back system with this as the cat back. I'm after something which is semi loud but not droney. I like my loud exhausts However I want it to be able to be controlled to street levels with maybe an apexi evc and/or the silencer it comes with. Please owners with this exhaust give me your opinions. Thanks, Ben.
