  1. lol zombienation.. RAVER! Admittedly we've been watching Knight Rider for the last month or so since we got Season 1 haha. My current is Scissor sisters: filthy/gorgeous and I have a few other mp3s and the Get Smart theme hehe. Oh and I also have the muppets and the powerpuff girls
  2. hehehe pretty much what I said (was looking at nengun) And it IS my birthday on the 15th after all.... But the wife said NO ;D hehe
  3. yeh but kelly they only cover "legal modifications", same with Shannons. It says it in their product disclosure (shannons) and I'm probably the only person who's ever read it Anyway I think its left to the consumer to find out what legal and whats not on their own car. I guess it would be pretty hard as a call centre pleb to know whats legal and whats not anyway. Most people just take their chances I guess (or find out too late).. or if you're smart you hide the mods as best u can. Biggest problem would be if you ran down a pedestrian fatally (or similiar) and the cops turned up to the scene and went over your unRW car. Anyhoo thats a whole other thread.
  4. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/vrpdf/rdsafe/vsi%208.pdf No more than 25mm width on top of whats offered stock No more than 15mm in overall tyre + wheel diameter on top of stock
  5. Anyone know where & how much (x4 inj's) for injector cleaning on the NORTHSIDE ie Epping or thereabouts.. pleaaase no replies for Bayswater/Clayton companies blah blah. Need to get it done asap so my car can get put back together! Cheers! ~Kaz
  6. They have numbers on them, if you still have a receipt, copy of the number or say if you got them from Bob Jane or similiar, go in there and ask them to look up the receipt for you (most Bob Janes put it on the receipt for this same situation), and you can order the same locknut. Cheers
  7. For some odd reason the first can of paint we used to paint my rocker covers (purple ) came out reaaally dusty and sh1te. Base coat was fine but the purple was no good, not glossy at all. Little flecks of crap.. and so we ended up taking it back to metal again, and have just repainted it, this time with a new can that came out 100% better and heaps thicker.
  8. Well anyway, Ive ordered a couple of times from nengun.. took about 3 weeks to get some apexi pods etc. This time I ordered a *huge* quantity of air filters... ie one.. which is out of stock apparently, paid for 3 Dec and still waiting til the 25th Jan or thereabouts to receive it. Apart from this delay, had no issues thus far, was very happy with the last order. I have heard that Greenline are a bit cheaper though... but nengun is much easier to impulse buy
  9. Hi all, Cleaning out all our crap... have a couple of things to get rid of. I have one 180sx taillight for sale. I took the pic upside down, it is of course the passenger side. Lens completely intact and looking beautiful but I stole one of the fuse boxes from the back. Off a 94 SR. $60 ono Also a stock dump pipe off a 94 SR20DET. Just leftovers from swapping a turbo. As shown. $70 ono Would prefer local pickup from Epping or you could pickup from the city during or just after business hours (with notice). Cheers!! 10. Nah the one near Epping cop shop Saw a nice white 34 across the road from there recently..
  11. Regent St Autoelecs or something like that are good.. in reservoir on high st near the Reservoir. They have a crappy looking workshop so you know they're good and won't rip you off! No seriously, very honest guys there, but the area and parking's not great so I wouldn't want to leave the car there overnight or anything.

    Go Summer!

Thank god it won't be 40, you're all insane.. How can any of you people live in Melbourne, be climatised to the cold and look forward to 40 deg heat? Anyway the weather channel isn't a good indicator until like the DAY before.. and even then.. where were those thunderstorms I was promised! I don't mind a nice beach cruise on a nice day, if only there were *nice* beaches down here!!! Might have to move back to Syd I'm so stealing that idea Munkeh. Pink socks it is.
  13. Its all good I've got Ben's number unless he's changed it recently. He did an excellent job on my alarm a while ago.. gotta swap Mic's alarm one of these days too. Thanks Troy, thats nice and close cheers
  14. Welcome Back Geoff & Narelle!! Yeh I know late reply, but I've been off the face of the earth for a couple of weeks whilst recovering Looks like you were trying for a Siegfried and Roy moment there Geoff! Don't show the kitties that pic, they might get jealous after you left them for a whole month, you mean bastard!! hehe The beaches look beautiful.. better than hawaii thats for sure. I do believe Jervis Bay in NSW has even *whiter* sand than that tho! Diving.. well I don't know of anywhere (good) in VIC.. good diving sites are a bit scarce.. but try Seal Rocks if you're on the Nth Coast of NSW (near Forster).. but only if you like sharks, it's famous for it's grey nurse's and even bigger sharks around the 2 shipwrecks.. & the wrecks are not for beginners. Of course if you want to travel a little bit further.. the best place ever to scuba or even snorkel is Hanauma Bay in Hawaii (oahu).. you couldn't even put your hand out without it disappearing behind all the fish. The floor of the bay used to be a volcano but now it's a coral reef filled with fish, starfish, turtles etc. Best place in the world Maybe a little far to drive tho.. Anyway, good to see you're back.. at least for a little while before you leave us you QLD traitor ~Kaz
  15. From memory the 180 seals are about the same price (quoted within last 2 months). (as a comparison)
  16. thanks guys! Ended up taking it to JPC... Zardos is your car there atm? Saw quite a few nice lines while I was there..

  18. Hi all, ok I have a turbo with a snapped stud. Tried high tensile drill bits, no luck. I have already taken it to an exhaust shop who were also unable to get it out. Does anyone work at or know of a good exhaust shop/turbo repairing place/similiar that have expensive, decent tools (diamond tipped or some such?) and will be able to remove it? Looking for somewhere close by.. Epping, Campbellfield, Thomastown, Somerton.. etc. Unfortunately most places I know of/have tried don't have the tools that are going to be required. Its snapped off half way down, its past the 'welding-on-a-nut' stage also. Huge pain in the ar5e. Any help greatly appreciated.. Cheers!! Kaz
  19. thanks heaps for that.. no point machining them then you saved me a bit of pain, cheers!
  20. Hi all, tried searching.. but didn't get the answer I wanted. If anyone has the r32 service manual handy, can you please tell me what is the minimum thickness for the rotors? Looking for a rear measurement but fronts would be handy for future reference anyway. Thankyou for any help ~Kaz
  21. Happy 30th Birthday Jack!! (JAGR33) Can't slip it by us that easy! Have a good one! ~Kaz
  22. lol funnily enough I pulled my cluster out of the 180 on the weekend just gone... and it was a pain in the ar5e How many friggin screws do they need sheesh. Anyway thats a good idea.. will have to do that!
