  1. I jsut opened up my own Graphic Design business, JINX DESIGN in Mitchell, I also started a mechanics aprentiship which i gave away, but I am currently about to start a night course at tafe to become a qualified welder and boiler maker so i can do that on the side.
  2. you can come and look at my mums r33 if you would like i can take you for a qwick blockie, as it would be a really good car to get a first impression of. It is really close to stock only having an exhaust and 18's, and its in absolutely pristine condition I have actually never seen a cleaner stock example, we have had it 4 years and when we imported it, it had 42000kms with log books, like I said its a really cleam example and something that would leave a good impression. PM me if your keen I work in Mitchell and the cars there also during the day.
  3. the rb26 plenum will so not fit on a rb25 dont even try its closer to fitting a rb20 and thats still a really big job. I will take the inlet manifold ie. the bit that bolts between the throttle bodies and the head for $75+ freight???? Let me know also via pm your lowest dollar on the cam covers I PM's you a while back but have been interstate so could really get on to you sending them or anything sorry. Daniel
  4. skyline as stated i think that 10 or something i dont actually know and its not printed on the wheel either, but as i said they are specifically made to suite skyline but i listed other cars that I have seen them on or my tyre guy said he has fitted to other cars.
  5. AN rb30 will work out cheaper but only marginally but the beauty is the availablilty of important thangs like block cranks and girdles as opposed to the rb26. IF you want to send me a PM if you are serious I can discuss some mods that i have done to my own rb30 in my GTR to make sure it will rev to 8000RPM all day everyday, and remember 8000RPM in a rb30 is the same cubic displacement of air as an rb26 and 9600RPM.... I am currently building two other rb30's to go into r32 GTRS with all different combos and end needs for the engine so PM if your keen. Oh by the way I make the spacer plates to adapt the rb30 to the rb26 sump....
  6. WHEELS HAVE BEEN SOLD I have a set of DRIFT R, ROH 19 inch rims for sale. They are made to suite skylines and will fit all models after and including R32-R34. They will fit both GTR and gts-t models, and measure 19x8 fronts and 19x9 rear. The wheels will also fit alot of other cars including rx7 and other Mazdas, Supra and other toyotas such as soarer, and hilux, and they will fit fords but not falcons below ef series. The tyres are around 80% wear, scrubbed a little on inside, and have travelled around 4 thousand k's. They are 245/35/19 fronts and 275/30/19 rears, they are the good falkin tyres the 451 and are really sticky and are a small case sidewall. They have a slight scratches on one or two of the rims that is very minimal and I have included a photo and have been quoted $90 to fix the scratch but its very unnoticable once they are on a vehicle. The price is firm but PM if you are serious and we can discuss a freight deal or something. They are in great condition and are a real saving off what I bought them new and what they still sell for, please dont post here "oh I can get them for $2000 with tyres brand new??" cause in the real world you cant, but if you think you can dont sit on the computer go and get them, remember they are 19x9's, not 18x8s.... Will upload pics tomorrow sorry Thanks, Daniel.
  7. the gold class series is meant for cars that already have a high shine and just need to remove super fine scratches not reshine the paint that is why you had bad results, I would recommend using Meguiares speed glaze on a fine meguaires buffing pad on a really slow speed buff the whole car with a stoke of the bonnet taking around 6-8 seconds. then hand polishing with tech wax to revitalize paint back to a factory lustre.
  8. You my friend are a tosser!!! I dont really care about starting an arguement but your comments are ridiculous and unfounded at best. What about Meguires yellow wax then, its 100% natural, oh but i bet you havent heard of that cause you only know about your Autobarn/Supercheap variety's. Meguaires have been making polishes for more than 100 years and they have only been in australia since 1993, shit I wonder what they where doing before they came to Australia and people on the internet made stupid comments- like they are shit?????? Probably revoulutionizing the polish industry, every polish manufacturere in the world today has adopted manufacturing and application techniques for Meguaires, and that is a fact. Pray tell what brands has it lost to every time and what are the costs and what paint was it used and how was it applied??? If you know so much these should be easy questions to answer. Every car in last years Summernats top 10, ie the best painted cars in Australia uses Meguaires polishes. It really pisses me off when people make stupid comments about products that they arent getting the best out of simply cause they dont know what they are doing. Its like when car detailers and painters that I know first started using House of Kolor paints, every one thought they where garbage, well know look at all the best paint jobs they are all HOK, it comes to understanding products and application technique. Just in case you think I am biased to Meguaires I am my old man was the first high profile show car in Australia to use their polishes and is still sponsored by them, however this aside they are still one of the best polishes available and shouldnt be just sumed up with "that has silicon thats shit"!!! Hey at first none of their products had any artificial products but people complained the shine didnt last... IF you want to talk silicon talk to me about some of the brands you mentioned and their tyre shine's, at least meguires long last tyre shine doent have silicon so all the dust can stick to it. So in closing provide proof or dont open your mouth.
  9. GTR standard diff ratio is 4.11 GTS4 came with a 4.3. I think you will find the rolling diameters on all these cars to very similar as the older cars have a taler sidewall on the tyre to compensate for a smaller rim. Tyres only come in a few select overall rolling diameter usually 570mm, 600mm, and 620mm... these are the common passenger car rolling diameter for example a 215/65/14 is the same rolling diameter as a 265/35/18. SO i dont think tyre size plays any key roll in the discussion of final drive ratios especially if people are just using a common tyre. On another note a friend just finished a VL turbo I had some things to do with. The build was forged internal with a standard 25det head, custom plenum with 90mm throttle body, gt35/40 turbo with a .92 rear a/r all powered by a mcrotech. The car spools to 15psi ie run it by 3600RPM and made 476rwhp on only 14.5psi. With a 3.45 diff ratio and standard VL gear box the car is an animal all the way up to and including 3rd gear. I was very impressed with the power output considering the low boost and also the fact the head is untouched. I will try to find a dyno print out in the next week.
  10. $353 a year rego, youar a lucky lucky man here in ACT my GTR rego is $710 a year so be happy!!!! Anyway back on point my GTR was 1460kg before i started any weight reduction measures, if i where you i would strip things out of my car take it to a weigh station get a print out and take it to rego.
  11. I cant believe this isnt sold, if didnt have one I'd have this one.. Bump for a bargain, Good luck with sale...
  12. i cant believe this isnt sold, if i didnt have ione id have this one.. Bump for a bargain, GD with sale...
  13. On my GTR which was significantly lower than a standard GTR the angle of the driveshaft from the gearbox (sometimes refered to as the front tailshaft) changed .75 of a degree and as far as i can tell and can see wont effect anything. As for the driveshafts coming from the diff to the wheels, On a standard height or slightly lowered GTR (actually all GTR's) it works in the same theory as lowering the car 10mm ie. it doesnt effect it at all!!! On the gts4 that has been told I am led to blelieve no work was done to any of the systems such as the driveshafts and it drives perfect....
  14. no your right mate not required at all, your right you were just confused as all of us some times. Like i said you are one of the few genuine people I have delt with, the amount of people i have given pics to and exact specs to in the beginning and chased after them with interstate phone calls to try and look after them only to have them say my "cuz/bro can do it way cheaper".... Yeah sure no worries. It has tarnished my opinions of how to deal with people via the internet... Sorry greg you dont owe me nothing champ, I am glad we can clear everything up though. Cheers, Daniel.
  15. hi greg, the rb20 gts4 sump is exactly the same sump as a rb26 sump, the only difference is the diff ratio but that plays no part in how the spacer plate works, sorry if i sounded narkie in the last post i didnt mean to be its just things sound different when you re-read them once on the screen. PM me if you have any questions, as you seem like a genuine bloke i can supply you a few photos of my plate so you can better visualize what has to be done and how everything works....
  16. Hi greg, Maybe before trying to make me look a rip off or liar in a public forum you could have asked me through PM as I am not trying to fool anyone or make money from people. I am just trying to help out enthusiasts that have a DIY attitude same as myself, but no matter I am not at all embarrased as said this thread is well over a year old. I had never worked on an RB series engines before 2004, I had worked all types of v8's,fj20's and L series but never built a Hi performance RB built from scratch. Also in this time I have been working closely with a few of the most respected mechanics and mechanical engineers in this country and also had heavy dealings with JUN and Veilside in Japan, and have CAD designed some one off stuff for my own engine that will now go into production in the USA. I have toured the Nizpro shop and had there system of adapting the sump explained to me first hand, this was after I came up with my own design; so I wasnt recycling ideas... Nizpro make a crank girdle which believe it or not has nothing to do with adapting the block to the sump, it is a seperate girdel that is cnc'd from billet steel to add strength to the mains of the rb30 (you can use the girdle for rwd's also). They still use a spacer plate in 10mm steel to adapt the wider 4wd sump to the narrower rb30 block. My design is the later, I was going to do a crank girdle for myself also but the chance of not getting it right is just to high it would work out cheaper to by the Nizpro item. Currently I am building 3 engines, the whole engines and using the adapter, these engines are all for 700hp+ gtr's; I have sent two plates to sydney with one running in a gts4, I have also done another 3 for gts4's and a gtr in canberra. Now i have no way of testing what i have made, how can I, its a flat piece of 10mm steel what can go wrong??? I am selling basically a fancy washer and i only make $50 out of each plate for all my time and design work, so how can I afford to test everything???? At the end of the day I am looking after people who can afford a bit of there own time but can't afford a premade package like what RIPS or Nizpro sell, and with some of the PM's i get I can really see why these guys wont sell the plate seperate and will only do the whole job. Hope this clears a few things up, and I hope others can see I am not trying to trick anyone only trying to help.
  17. no skyline all the way on the booster, no silvia rubbish ben hahaha!!!!! Looks real nice dicky like i said im keen to chat with you about drag suspension setups!!!
  18. if you put a rb26 head on a rb30 and leave all the support gear ie turbo, manifolds, exhaust and inlet they sound the same.... the acoustics of the engine come from the valvetrain and head design as mentioned in the ducatti analogy, its all to do with the head design.... rb30 single cam engines sound crap cause of the shit head they are running!!!! The rb20 and 26 use the same head casting but very different set ups and the reasone an rb20 sounds different to a rb25 that has the same valve train set up is the camber circumferance is only 77mm not 86 thus the rb25 has a deeper note.....
  19. how did you go with the clutch booster, i noticed you did it different to how i told you i did mine??? Looks good bud cant wait to see the mph this pulls, also I am interested to talk to you about suspension set ups for serious r32 drag cars!!
  20. i will buy the head seperate to the plenum and throttle bodies but i cant buy for at least 2 months let us know IN5AN3 and muaythailuke what you want to do.
  21. mallery 140, 2x Bosch 044, and 6x rochester 1400cc injectors!!!!
  22. yeah i know its the ramp rate but on a profile used in a rb26 anything over 9.5mm lift usually has over 264 degrees and this will cause the standard valve springs some greif, but i was generalising just to save explanation..... Also If you do buy after market cams i would stick with either HKS or Apexi as both of these I have worked on have had a base circle of 33mm same as standard (actually standard is 32.6mm once i measured with micrometers so is HKS and Apexi)... The Jun and tomie high lift cams I have worked with both have a base circle of 30.6mm, so they need shimming and unfortunately the biggest non aftermarket shim available in 12.3mm od. is 3.5mm which isnt big enough so you will need to get a set made or buy some from the cam manufacturer!!! RB 26 heads are expensive no matter what you do as the time involved is a killer, it takes me nearly a day to set tapet clearences with new shims or cams, maybe Im slow though???!!!
  23. are these still going??? whats the price on a d-jetro to suit r32 GTR????
  24. what are you doing with the body, as im interested inthe rear boot hinge assebly and the rear window need to be out for access would this be possible, I am willing to come to melbourne from canberra and take it all out if its available thats how keen i am for one!!!
