It was the silver and charcoal car with rays 17s in gold that Joe from skylines sold recently so im sure some of you will at least know the car know and perhaps the driver. The driver was over the limit at the time of the accident and charges were placed.....

could it be that when the belt broke the result was a bent crankshaft sent the valves slightly more southward or the violent shock made the valves open more??? My rb26 is non interface as i have swang the cams around on tdc and nothing hit!!!

For the sump adapter plate i will be asking around $400 for the plate, the you will have to drill some holes and tap thread the adapter plate around another $100 for a machining shop a have aluminium lugs welded to your sump to remove to studs to change to longer bolts which will probably cost a further $100. Im selling the plates basically at cost plus aroun 80 for developement cost as i wasted around $800 worth of 10mm cadium plated mild steel working it all out and fitting it perfectly. If people are interested they can PM and if they buy one i will provide accurate and detailed instructions on what to do!!! Thanks

As a side note im selling gtr block adaptors now with all the low down on how to make it work, as there is a fair bit of work involved. So if anyone is interested PM. I have spent around $1500 in material and machining costs to perfect this thing and let me tell you it isnt worth the 2g RIPS and AVO want to make it work!!!

you dont need to use studs on everything people. I bought new rb26 head bolts from nissan for $140, and i have the advantage i dont need the camshafts out to fit and do up my head. For the mains and the crank girdle again i bout new bolts off nissan for $48. A bolt is the same strength as a stud. It would be different if you had to run a stud so you can run a bigger bolt size but 12mm an 10mm for the crank is very sturdy!!!! The rb26 main cap bolts are 62mm long and rb30 is a little shorter i think with three of them a different length all together so just buy rb30 stuff for there.

Im unsure but the rb26 head studs are 12mm x 1.5mm thread pitch. you can check this against the rb25 if they are the same no drilling of the head required!!!

HICAS removal bar fitting for R33

Just a side note that will help, it is a really good idea to crack the tie rod ends that go into the rack before to remove the rack, the order that is stated in geoofs tutorial. With the rack out its a real handfull as the tie rods are actually connected right through the rack and spin so you need a big vice, to big shifter and all this gets messy. Cheers. -
it is in the lower hose to position it well below the radiator water line. To add some reverse engineering to understand the poroblem look at the vl commodore where the fill up point was lower than the highest point in the cooling system they always cracked head cause the bubbles in the cooling system would gather in the back of the head and crack them. PLus the way water criculats in the rb engine it is the last outlet so it is the stappoer that allows the water to heat up in the engine first!!

The pump is in perfect working condition and has 82,000kms on it. Excellent upgrade for r32 gtst or silvias, and I myself have made 250rwkw reliably on stock gtr pumps on my own car and numerous cars that i have tuned! The car that the pump comes off only had a boost increase and exhaust and was doing 210rwkw, so it hasnt had a really hard life. Price: $180 plus postage. Thanks, Daniel.

haha. I can take it, however, you still had to pay taxes; so at the end of the day I am just a guy who didn't re-read his post before clicking reply. While you may be laughing at my "self righteous illiterate" comments, I will be laughing at the fact you think you can evade the law and cry "bad service, why me" at everyone when you don't get away with it! I know who is better off in the end, i have little egg on my face but you have a lighter wallet. -

Drag Combat is back for 2005!
Fitzpatrick Speed Works replied to 2rismo's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
if anything some of the promoters should be telling WSID to jam it.....! At supernats WSID didnt even do a crowd count or collect tickets or do reciepts, how many people do you reckon were paying straight into Jims back pocket???? I know Ahmed is pretty upset they told him only 11,000 people came through the gate, when every year previous has been over 20,000...... Oh and drag combat will be good maybe i will bring my GTR as well hopefully it will be finished by then considering i was aiming for supernats 2004!! hahaha -
Just a piece of info that will help those building there engines themselves... ACL Main cap bearings, i use the race ones ie harder casing material better resistance to oil and scuffing Part No: 7M2394HX-STD <- this is where you tell them the journal size, i was lucky my mains journals just needed a polish thus i got STD or standard, no linishing was carried out) Just had a box sitting here thought id type it up for youse!!! Daniel.

i dont know if the loop hole still exists but generally if your stuff was invoiced for heritage purposes ie we used to mark stuff was for an antique ford or chev the duty often would get waved due to some loop hole that used to exist but i dont know with te new tax system..... this is just to hopefully help people in the future!!!! But i agree you know the risks and no one complains when it goes with you not against. -
as covered many many times the n1 pump is the same as the normal pump with a higher spring rate so it runs slightly higher pressure, you can do this to your standard pump for $20. Also if you are running an early r32 engine it would be wise to invest in a r33 on pump and a jun crank collar to address drive engagement issues the earlier designed cranks have!!!

Fitzpatrick Speed Works replied to Wrath's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
theres no difference!! Use what fits your crank, if its been machined on the main journals you will need oversized units!!! -
