  1. weld in the fitting at the back of the head, the way that is, is okay, but would be so much better welded in, theres not much room back there!!
  2. Its even got the token drift damage and the mis matched body colours, the japs totally strapped on!!! hahaha
  3. keep the wheels you have they are wider and probably newer with better tires I assume??? it wont change your times heaps how much traction do you get from the current set up!??
  4. hahaha don't knock the procharger!!!!hahaha low tech as opposed to what, definately not the weiand!!!!??? haha
  5. Yeah i'll mention it to him, the killer for any new projects are the new roll cage laws they have imposed in ACT, no bars in front of the driver, the r33 will get in becasue it is a project that was in the build and approved before the new laws. See for my gtr i will be putting all the roll cage in except the front hoops, getting it registered then welding them in and hope I never have to go over the inspection station!!!! I will definately ask him though, tell Paul it would be ACT rego though! Did Paul buy Steves Procharger???? nah actually don't tell me, i'd rather it be a suprise!
  6. Well Id go the scotch less calories, and yeast stores more than malt!!!
  7. Well this thing is apparently approved for running 24"x 13" road rubber on the rear and 21"x7 on the front, its going to look pretty gay in my opinion, much like a tractor I have seen the rims and simply shook my head 24's on a skyline so gay!! his race rubber is 33"x 18" i believe!!! I dont know if the stude will be registarable, not just becasue of the tire size, the thing hanging out the front could pose some probs also. Ray Spence-Canberra Motor Works, only does ACT rego though so that could be an issue???
  8. Richard you made me spit my coffee all over the monitor ahahaha funny funny man!!!
  9. depends on what tyres your runiing on both sets, width, compound, power of the car, weight of the wheels etc???
  10. FX holden, pure gold 138CU od raw power!! Do you know the track, can we take guesses???
  11. I think Webber will get there and so will Cosworth if they keep there heads down and steer clear of all the internet forums saying he should tell Williams to piss off haha! Like people have said where was Renult 3 years ago, they had reliability issues but had promise, thats what Williams has now, so heres to hoping Webber can get up there casue not being biased I think he is one of the very best drivers in that series, as good as the MS, Alonso's, or Kimi's, started to prove that at Monaco to, damn car!!!
  12. Yes I would also like to know that, as I argued with the owner when he told me called him a tosser etc among other things, then I talked to the engineer thats doing the and he said it won't be problem its all under control, I dont understand!!!?? I think its one of those situations where the less you know the better!!!
  13. Have you talked to paul about featuring any SC drag cars or anything? I know of a few cars here in canberra that would make good features if he wanted to push some later model stuff, like a full tube chassis registered r33!!??
  14. After reading this thread there are quite a few misconceptions I want to shed a little light on, my x was a sports nutritionist and a PT, and another x did sports physiology and my learning is based off what I have learnt off them so if someone thinks this is incorrect please tell me. 1) Don't do cardio after a weights session. Your body goes into anabolic shock, and your muscle wont search for fat it will simply burn protien and you will lose muscle condition (which slows recovery time dramatically) and depleat any muscle you are building. After a weights sessions your muscle will be starved of protiens and oxygen and will need this to rebuild, cardio will deprieve your muscles of this and they will eat themselves basically, instead of burning fat your body will be trying to repair and oxygenate your blood. Wait at least 2 hrs before doing cardio after weights and have a protien shake or a meal high in protien in the meantime. Otherwise do cardio first and after i doubt you will be able to perform a correct weight session anyway. 2) Any weight session will burn fat, not as much as cardio but still will. I dont like people who say high reps low weight to get toned. this method works no better than low reps high weight, both push the muscle to a state where it is exhausted. Granted low reps high weight will build muscle faster, it will also burn fat faster, you will have to create muscle which means you will burn fat!! 3)OMG people you have to eat!!! 3 main meals and 2 light meals a day. Big breakfast, medium lunch, medium-light dinner (depending on bed time). For breaky non sugary cereal, yogurt, fruit (if on a weight loss program avoid toast). morning tea, muslea bar, fruit or yogurt, Lunch something home made not take away, if you like pasta and rice and stuff eat it for luch as it is very slow burning your body might use it before you go to bed-it wont if you have it for dinner. Afternoon fruit, or something light non-carbo based if possible. Work out before dinner or cardio before dinner. try to eat with in half an hour after work out and eat meals high in protein, like non marinated white meats, or read meats, (kangaroo is awesome, really lean high in protein), and a salad or vegetable, try to avoid potato's. Also another note, eat your meats and salads seperate don't mix food groups, it has minimal effect but everything helps, your stomach uses different methods to break down different foods, eat meats first by themselves, then wait 10-20 mins and have the salad or sides. Thats a pretty strict guide but you can get an idea of good eating practices off that, also eat at a similar time all the time, this will keep your metabolism consistant. Hope this helps, these little steps will help you lose weight safely, and quickly, well done to those trying to lose weight your heart etc will thank you, and you will live a longer healthier life.
  15. No its normal postage but they collect the money for you. Ie. you take it to the post office say this is COD they ask how much you want to collect, you say $80. The parcel arrives I pay the post office they send you a notice in the mail to come collect your money, its a good system that means i get my item you get your money.
  16. Is it in perfect working order, will you COD?

  18. Well currently in the build at our shop we have my GTR drag/street car, a datto 1000 ute with a a14 turbo (trying to talk them into 13b turbo), a 1600 with a sr20 turbo, a 1600 with a big hp fj20t, and another 1600 with a fj20t that is just getting a freshen up (trim, paint etc), and we are on the look out for a early ford rod... so i guess the GTR is a six but its not like the orange 1600 quality wise, so sorry Adrian but there might be a wait before a cool six is done haha I will be trying though!!!! ahah Dan
  19. We are talking my brothers 1600, it won't be racing PWR are paying for it to come up and sit on their stand, should be awesome I am excited, never been. As for the girls don't get me started, my brother got 2g for winning the whole summernats and miss Summernats collected 5g in cash and 6g in prizes!! WTF!!!
  20. Not the cv's, drive shafts or diff as they are the same as GTR's and very rarely do you have problems with them. Even at that power, you will have to be a nice guy to your gearbox, depedning on its condition and the life its led, always be gentle on 3rd once you have over 300rwkw!!!
  21. I am under the impression they have a 2 way mech diff the same as used in the GTR
  22. Freebie, got to be happy with that. the gts4 box was probably distroyed or replaced at some point, I doubt it would have been done in the factory, they do look almost identicle though!
  23. PPG all the way. Have had a drama with the OS kits before but the PPG gearbox we have used before was just awesome.
  24. they will handle 300awkw, but it (like GTR boxes) depends on the prior condition and how it is treated once you have this power. They are n't quite as strong as the gtr box as the the input shaft isnt quite as beefy.
  25. Great mag Andrian, we buy a few copies every month if Paul doesn't send us any that is.
