brian earl spoolup replied to CEF11E's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Hey guys, Got mine in the mail today... Looking at installing it but im totally useless. I have attached a pic from my FC rx-7 service manual. On the left there is the rx7 turbo setup and on the bottom right is the pic of the rx7 turbo. What i dont get is according to the left pic... on the right pic, isnt there spose to be a boost solenoid valve inbetween the hose from the wastegate actuator to the compressor cover that im spose to bypass ? Any ideas how i should connect this controller? All input is appreciated Cheers -

Just read through the 8 pages on this thread ... sounds like a pretty good boost controller. Just wondering though, im thinking of raising my stock (FC3S rx7) boost (7.5psi) to around 10 psi. Seems as though most of the ppl who have purchased this controller are running around 14 psi or more. I want to make sure itll be able to make minor low range boost adjustments such as those from 7.5 to 10 psi. Dont wanna blow my rotor Thanks in advanced, Cheers -
Hey guys, The rims are r32 gts-t type-m's (pretty sure that is wat they are called) that came off my rx7. They are in pretty ordinary condition (good for drifting??) but come with 1 month old tyres which cost me 600 bucks (have receipts) The specs are... 16 " 6.5 JJ (6.5 inch wide) +40 offset, 5x114.3 PCD Tyres are Firenza's 205/55WR16 91W ST03 on the front and 225/50VR16 92V ST03 on the rear. **price change ** 300 bucks for everything *edit* new pictures added
