Hey all, just got my new skyline, My r33 series 2 makes a squeeling noise as soon as i start it on cold mornings(for about 3 seconds)), & has a tiny bit of trouble starting. although when the car is warm.....it starts no worries with no noise. Any ideas? Also i can hear my fuel pump when i start to accelerate, is that normal on r33's, just concerned it's not on the way out or something? Thanks!

apexi turbo timer can turn off while it is working by pushing a left button instantly. but yeah, can't really turn off a BOV can we? lol

it's more of a whining noise that gets louder when you increase the revs.......?

cheers, i'll check that.....do you think the timing belt would making a loud knocking noise if it needs replacing?

Hey, i am having trouble with my r32 non turbo type m. I start the car and in the engine bay it sounds like something it rubbing but it's like a constant sound and it only seems to be getting worse+louder. What could this be becuase i can't see at this time of day, and i need the car the rest of the week! :S It also seems to be revving with less power? It has 117,000kms but i'm unsure if the last owner replace the timing belt or not(it doesn't say anywhere), would it be making such a loud rubbing/knocking noise if it was the timing belt going out? Thanks Any ideas? i thought i'd post here to get a quick reply pls move when necessary, thanks!

Hello, i'm looking at doing up my RB20DE, without going turbo. Was thinking cams/injectors/tune/extractors etc......to get a bit more power out of the engine, cost wise i know it's going to vary but i just want to know if anyone knows a good workshop for these type of modifications to make a beasty rb20de ? mine keeps coming on after a few kms but the stupid hicas is still on, why oh why nissan put this in their skylines i wonder! you could always get nissan to check it out and pay a billion dollars to fix it?

ahh yes the sound of an rb, good to hear! Haven't got time to answer your other qns, but always run it off premium it will drive/feel much better, you'll notice. i tryed mine on normal unleaded once and never again, it felt slugish to say the least. i've got an apexi a1 exhaust system on mine, sounds great.....get something jap

okay, 15k can get your a turbo anyways if you know where to look, dealer is probably the last place you want to look because they add alot onto the price. insurance is same price non turbo/or turbo maintanance is more for turbo probably, just hope your turbo is in good cond. have fun

i did just that , no more commodore lol....technology with nissan is just so much more advanced. Heard about that new paint nissan is using? You scratch it and it heals itself within a few days, crazy!!

check your spark plugs i just replaced mine and the old ones were farked!.....all rusted n sh*t. This could be causing it to mis-fire, clean your throttle intake plenium as well clear it up a little bit will run much smoother ........good luck

Hello i'm about to do a service on my skyline r32 rb20de, it's auto, just a quick question do they have a service kit for that gearbox, and if so whats the part no/where can you get it from. So far i've asked around and no one can tell me theres a kit available. Much appreciated
