I reckon it could pass actually, remove all the obvious mods (boost controller etc) get it looking stock as much as possible lol. The ride height will probably still be an issue, they can see just by looking at the car it's fairly low I've brought a car from interstate over to SA, they checked the ID & and had a general look around the car. (they only told me to repair a cracked brake light) but that's it.

It's a very nice car indeed, I'm sure you won't have a shortage of people wanting to buy it Pete I don't even think it matters a whole deal if it's the original engine or not, the car is still a classic in great condition for it's age

Meh, RB20 is better than whatever was in there previously anyway. Besides if you were buying it, you would want to be able to legally register it to drive on the road more preferably.

I would say somewhere in the 20's to sell it, mainly because it is rare & has had some work done to it. But of course it depends if it's registered with the RB20 etc, that would be one main selling point.

I don't know about other people but i reckon it should be worth more with the RB20DET in it, better than the POS engine that was probably in it before & and a lot more powerful and efficient to drive! If people have any idea about cars they won't automatically assume it's been thrashed, that's just a biased opinion really..

it just does alright lol, this is another good reminder for people out there to make sure you have proper insurance, in case something just like this happens.

i refuse to use the search function myself, so much easier to make a new thread, and then get 20 people posting "you should have used the search" "here's a thread you SHOULD have gone to, via searching for it" You see, it's those people who make it so much easier for me to find what i was after.
