  1. Hi I have an Alpine CVA1000 screen and a CHA S604 6 disc stacker for sale. They are both in excellent condition. The screen comes with separate computer box and all cables required. I have a 5 metre ai net (screen to stacker cable) included. I have had both items in the car for about two years. I am located in Brisbane. I would like to sell them both together but would consider separating if I can find a buyer for the screen. $850 for both.
  2. I have had Kuhmo ecsta supra and hated them, were never that grippy and lasted 6 months. I have had two sets now of Yokahama S306 which last heaps longer and grip in wet and dry. very happy
  3. Sorry Slide, most of the structural stuff has gone back in.
  4. Melvs list is exactly what I have in my 33. I think that in a 33 it is hard to go past fibreglass sub boxes. One in each corner, budget about 400 for these and a 100 or so to wire and install amps. Leave out rear speakers altogether, tune and enjoy.
  5. I sold it all to mates, all up it cost about 3 grand. I always wanted a real install though so it was worth it. The next thing to do is more power.
  6. I am with Leech, I think the SSS is a great car. Enough power, a Nissan and can be made to look pretty good. Wouldn't be too hard to find one that has had an easy life as a grocery getter either. The 2L versus all of these 1.5s you have mentioned would be enough to make my mind up.
  7. Northfield Moorooka did the boot. I have never had a taillight go out while it has been done but I am sure I will now! It has all now been taken out, it is a very sad sight indeed.
  8. These are a couple of pics of my boot install in my 33. I am about to change it all so I thought I would post up some pics.
  9. I think it could be your engine fan. If the clutch on it seizes it stays on full time and starts revving with the engine causing a 'windy' sound. To check open your bonnet and rev your engine, if the fan is stuffed you will feel the breeze, your hood lining will probably show some wear too. If this is the problem, the vl turbo fan clutch fits and can be had reasonably cheaply.
  10. thanks heaps for the detail, now I am really scared. I will have a go at one and see what happens. Thanks again
  11. Hi all, I have Rays Volk AV3 rims and I want to take them apart to paint the inside spoke section. They have 24 hex head bolts holding them together, is it as simple as taking these off and prising the two sections apart. Will they buckle, will they go back together easily? Just hoping someone may have had a crack at this before.
  12. Sorry to hijack but I have also been looking for info on this part but for the 33. Anyone???
  13. I had two made by Northfield fibreglassed into the side like that. Mine are on a bit more of an angle and sit slightly further back. They were $200 each but they leave heaps more room than the other one I had. Most premade boxes I have found are at least 100 but none ever fit that well. If you are keeping your car for a while I think it is a good way to go.
  14. What about the aircon sensor for ambient temperature. From near the radiator. Any chance?
  15. Is this sold yet and if not where in Melbourne are you?
  16. http://www.goldcoastmarathon.com.au/raceIn...adClosures.html I just noticed that this is on at the same time. I don't know how much this will affect things but it is worth taking note of. I am really keen to come on my first cruise and meet you all. Shannon.
  17. I am looking for an air con ambient temp sensor (little thing that plugs in near radiator) any chance?
  18. Hi, I need an ambient temp sensor for my 96 r33 aircon. If anyone has one or knows how to get it please pm me. Thanks
  19. Who/Where are International Management Systems? Are they currently complying the 2 door R34 GTT? I was under the impression that evidence was still needed from the side intrusion crash tests.
  20. Tell him you have got him covered and then take him out. Too easy one of my mates has a supra and he is an easy beat!
  21. I was looking for a SAFCII but I will offer you 300 to get things going.
  22. Thankyou very much. I will do that and then beat the guy up who told me it was an af sensor!
  23. I have noticed underneath my car that out of my cat converter there is a plug with a braided looking wire coming out of it. My wire has been cut in half when it dragged on a speed bump (more low car dramas!) I have been told this is a sensor used for engine management to check af ratios. Is this right, has anyone else had this happen and is this part easily replaceable. If anyone has one for a series 2 r33 could they please contact me. Thanks all.
