  1. I am about to join the two together, but was just wondering what to do with the power antenna side of things. Aerpro harness has blue wire for power antenna, and blue/white for remote (amp). Pioneer harness does not have blue wire for power antenna, only blue/white for amp. What has everyone else done here? Hooked it up to the red wire? I've found this : http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=72085 , and thats what someone has said to do. I think it's a bit crap that the Pioneer range doesn't have the power antenna stuff :chairshot
  2. geez .. you guys over east are paying a lot for insurance!
  3. how does the mdf stay put? is it bolted down?
  4. taken from Ruffel's thread. Is it possible to install an amp in the cavity next to the battery? I was told that is where the fuel tank/pump is...
  5. could be an alarm or something if you have one installed?
  6. Hey guys, Going to put a stereo into my R33 and was wondering where you guys put your amps? Since the battery is in the boot, it seems funny to mount it under the front seats and run cables back out for the sub in the boot. I was thinking next to the battery, but thats where the fuel tank is hey?
  7. guess it depends on what you can afford. I picked a S2 R33 gtst cos it was a newer and larger car. I've found it a joy to drive, although I haven't driven a R32 to compare. looks are a matter of opinion. i'd definitely pick a series II over a series I R33. A Do-luck or Vertex kitted 32 looks awesome but. Just really depends on what you wanna do aswell. Interior wise. R33 has more room, being a bigger car. Again, not a big fan of the series I interior (seats), although the dash and that are the same. Go visit a few on sale and make up your mind then!
  8. i can get one for about $150 from a shop here in Perth.
  9. yes, that's an option. I was wondering if there was an actual kit that had a "shorter" shifter.
  10. short shifters will shorten throw by either of two ways: shorten the stick or moving the pivot point. As stated earlier, most short shifters seem to adjust the pivot point as opposed to the length of the shifter. If anybody can confirm that the C's type are stock height or are shorter, that'd be great.
  11. Hey guys, Does anyone know if there are any short shift kits out there which also reduce the height of the shifter for a 33 gtst? After a search on the forums, seems like most have gone for the C's short shifter or a copy. I believe these are close to stock height.
