  1. any updates on the series 2 guides?
  2. bugger .. if you still have these in a couple of months then i'll be in! but atm I don't have 2k.
  3. Hey Bass Junky, Can u please PM me your address to return this guide to? Or the address of someone who has a S1 and wants to buy this one... Cheers
  4. i paid 1050 for front and back seats incl delivery from brisbane to perth! keep hunting guys!
  5. hey Bass Junky it's about 80mm. Has anyone else with a S2 had troubles?
  6. heya Bass Junky, I'm at work atm so I can't measure it up, I'll do it at home. My front bar is stock except for a lip which has been put on before I bought the car. I didn't think the grille was anything aftermarket? Here's a piccy...
  7. I received my guide yesterday and it looks good! I'm not 100% sure about how it fits though. Has anybody fitted theres to their Series II? You can see from the pics that the guide sits right up against the bonnet latch. It's not too bad, you can still open the bonnet but I thought it'd come down a bit lower. You can also see that when the bonnet is shut that the airflow to the air filter snorkel would be more restricted than what it was from factory?
  8. thanks! will keep an eye out!
  9. i've got a stealthfx .. on about 60/40 cos i don't want it too loud .. i have no stalling issues whatsoever . .even if i put in the clutch and let the revs fall. if you are getting stalling, adjust the spring tension by twisting the cap only. that will make the bov close sooner and should get rid of your stalling issues.
  10. my car has some bolts already where the holes line up
  11. boost affects airflow though... if you wish to turn boost down, unplug the factory boost solenoid and unplug any other boost controller. that way, it will read about 5psi and will never go into 'high' mode.
  12. GTRs also have bigger tanks. I think the 32 has like a 71L tank... so even when compared to the gtst, it loses cos it gets less mileage on a bigger tank! But you don't drive/own a GTR because of it's fuel economy...
  13. i got one in my centre console.
  14. ahh rightio .. ive never used one as i wash my car at home. i thought it was a flat fee.
  15. i've seen atleast one in that tealy blue/green colour in Perth.
  16. nothing wrong with red 33s!
  17. I don't see why they don't let ya .. you're paying the same amount no matter what.
  18. I don't see this as any better than a K&N filter inside the stock airbox with the snorkel in place, except the extra risk with water on a rainy day.
  19. f**k not bad .. cheap fast car!
  20. ross80, My point was that many ppl here (mostly R32 owners) consider the R33 as a boat/whale, as they are bigger and heavier. I was pointing out that the Soarer (in my opinion) fits this category, even moreso due to the soft floaty suspension that it has. I love my 33 and I make no regrets in buying mine. I fail to see how R33s are more practical than soarers though. Both in my mind are pretty impractical to carry people or big cargo in.
  21. they call R33 boats/whales ... pfft .. the soarer is worse! been in a v8 soarer, that was a cruiser, not a sports car, suspension was very spongey like a falcon or commodore... the interior was very nice but .. leather seats, a heap of options .. definitely better interior than the 33.
  22. haha you'd be lucky to get a S1 R33 with mods to suit what you want for that price. You're wishing on getting a R34 with mods for that money.
  23. Generally, Channel 10 use the ITV video footage, not sure if they did for Melbourne or not, so it's not Channel 10's fault if theres bits missing or if the ad breaks are in the wrong spot.
