  1. any chance of some pics of the front seats? how much do u want for the front seats + delivery to perth?
  2. i dunno hey .. a vertex s14a looks pretty sweet to me. i was going for a s14a before my r33, but opted out due to the lack of room.
  3. I don't think it'll be that much of a prob. The radiator is huge, and unless you have a HUGE FMIC which completely covers the radiator, i don't think you would have any problems in regards to cooling. Whilst there are supposed benefits of cooling (such as air not being able to escape through that gap and forced through the radiator), I'd think it's more of a cosmetic item than performance.
  4. This is the UAS one, you can see the snorkel is above this air guide.
  5. sweet .. and that last pic has gtst front guards too, cos the side indicators are different between the gtst and gtr. (and obviously they aren't as fat) cool, so they fit. gotta start saving!
  6. the snorkel bolts to on top of the radiator support beam, as opposed to the radiator guide which will bolt onto the side of the support beam, so it shouldn't restrict flow to the snorkel. if postage is under $15ish (which will then make it cheaper than UAS) and it fits a R33 S2 with this grill, then put me down for one.
  7. that 3rd pic, is that a GT-R? the rear guards don't look that prominent.
  8. hmm.. unlucky.. 2 popped motors, 2 popped turbos....
  9. there is a way around the issue if you read my post properly. tighten the spring in the BOV.
  10. Hey guys, Going for a new exhaust, the difference being $160 between a Genie muffler and a Magnaflow muffler. A resonator is also being put in. What would you guys pick? Has anyone had a Genie cannon installed? I know the Magnaflow will be good, but just wondering is it worth the extra cash? Cheers
  11. why does everyone say use the stock? If he wants the sound, he is entitled to it. It's all about the setting of the BOV. I got a Greddy Type-S and my car doesn't stall at all! It's all about adjustment, tighten the spring and it should stop stalling, but don't tighten too tight otherwise it'll flutter and the BOV isn't actually doing its job. The only side effect of an atmo BOV is that it'll be rich when the BOV vents, and you may get a bit of backfire, especially after letting off on hard throttle.. but being an auto, you won't get rich conditions on gear changes. having said that, yeah, he should get flamed for not searching.
  12. i bet you haven't blocked the recirc piping. the rubber hose that the stock BOV was plumbed into has to be blocked off, otherwise you got a leak right there.
  13. I've had MOS burger in Singapore .. nice food, bit pricey for what you got (small serves!)
  14. got a link to the pic? would love to see! I've seen ferni's pictures too .. mmmmm!
  15. I've got 17x8 at the fronts too. but do you reckon they would be able to fit a 9 inch rim on the front?
  16. yeah sewid, i saw your for sale thread and that's what prompted me to create this thread I've seen a pic of a 33 with 34 wheels. I'm not sure if it was a GTR or not.. whilst I don't have cash to buy your wheels, it's something for me to think about in the future
  17. Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I've seen a pic of a R33 with R34 GTR wheels. Does anyone have a pic? I presume it's a GTR .. I don't think gtst's will be able to fit 18x9s in the front?

  19. yeah .. already read through that. anyway, finally got it off and the shifter is in. Has anybody encountered more noise with a C's "style" shifter? I get some whirring noises when shifting .. not sure if it's supposed to do that or not. The shift is amazingly short and notchy, but this noise has me a bit worried. Is the noise simply amplified as the shifter is solid steel as opposed to being rubber filled like the stock one?
  20. Hey guys, I'm in the middle of a short shifter install. The instructions say that the nylon bit that pivots on the end of the stock shifter may be a better fit than the one supplied. I think so too, and I'm trying to remove it. Anyone have any ideas on how? I'm not having much luck.
  21. where does it start from? My guess is the seat belt sensor?
  22. hmm .. my deck isn't wired up so I can have the radio on with keys out .. but ciggie lighter is an easy spot to take 12v from .. cheers. I'm probably going to go with this. I'm going to make a "harness", which will plug into the cigarette lighter harness to power my gauges. Benefit of this is it isn't permanent... And, I don't smoke anyways.
  23. Yeah JCI are pretty good for WA. I'm paying 1150, insured for nearly 24k.. reckless driving in 03.. couple of speeding fines .. thats bout it. that premium (done in may) was for when i was 21 .. im 22 now
  24. Hey guys, Just wondering if anybody has had their BOV seize up on them after installing a catch can? I read somewhere that some BOVs use the oily intake air as a lubricant. If this is the case, what happens after a catch can is installed? Do you have to lube em up manually?
  25. paulr33, what do you think a gtr pump would support up to max? I am looking at around 250rwkw.. it should support this no probs hey?
