Ben,..(Grim) I guess i always look at the legality aspect of every situation because that's what I am trained to do. I see what your saying, but still stand by my comments and dont feel i need to justify them.

Well there is one simple fact here, you break the law, you pay the consequence.. dont winge about it like fairies. Modifying your cars to a standard not legal by ADR rules is breaking the law. Its just a shame that those laws happen to be ridiculous. Is also a shame, like Grim states, that the police force have no clue or knowledge about imported vehicles, but yet seem to think they are qualified to enforce traffic laws. Those "imports" that are so regularly picked on by SAPOL are put into a dangerous safety bracket because of the number of high speed accidents/deaths that happen as a result of stupid and irresponsible young drivers.. of which I have a nice hefty insurance rating to thank for. There is also the issue of revenue raising, which is quite simple really, if you dont break the law, they dont get your money. I understand what the traffic coppers are trying to achieve.. but hey, thats politics for ya! enuff said.. haha..

Spotted... my magna... being arse ended by someone with out rego and insurance and then arse ended again by a mechanic apprentice driving a customers car.. R.I.P. My Magna... 3 car pile up yesterday... I was at the front and totally not at fault.. on the upside i get a new car! We had a prayer ceremony last night thanking god, i wasn't in the skyline or the bmw.. phew!!

Thats why your daily should get a Magna as a daily !! I never get pulled over in that (touch wood).. there would be so many cops around at the moment cos of the clipsal 500... i work close to there, its mayhem.. but hell... if i drove the skyline daily , id come home with a sore bum everyday! I remember Peaks.. They were really good guys. Echow (spelling?), did me a killer deal on some wheels.. I went on an EVO GSR cruise with John in his evo and we were told we would get fined $2.00 for passing the lead car aslo they were doing 60 kays on the freeway to Murray Bridge!.. from memory we ditched that cruise and met up with some skylines that night. Im not insulting.. just saying what happened... As they say, "what ever floats your boat"....

I probably wouldn't post those details on here dude. But I knew that would happen. Wait for your lawyer to get you what is called "judgement" in your favour.. The Courts (Court Sherriff etc) will then have to find this guy and make him pay his dues to you and other banks. Even if it means paying $20 for the rest of his life... failing that he could look at jail sentences depending on how bad it was. At least that way you get to keep your car. Make sure your lawyer informs the bank who sent you the original letter of what is going on to protect yourself. Lateries.
