  1. Agree with Duncan, 30%-50% is not unreasonable. The thing i've started noticing is that these cars are absolutely starting to skyrocket in Japan. I know that doesn't mean they will def follow the same pattern here. But as the once kids who loved the GTR's giving it to all at Bathurst, become cashed up adults, they'll be able to afford the higher asking prices, driving up the value. Here's a good example - white for you Dunc! A few cosmetic mods, but looks great. Add compliance and maybe an alarm, and you're getting close to $50k! http://www.j-spec.co...ne-6343516.html Or Black with a few more k's in the mid 30's http://www.j-spec.co...ne-6310289.html 4 years ago when i was looking at 32's, you would have struggled to find a V-Spec with an asking price over $22k-$25k
  2. ^^ Love it. Exactly how a 32 should be. completely stock body, lowered and a set of wheels.
  3. Another thing to consider Roy is insurance. Most companies general insurance doesn't cover an unregistered vehicle on the road so just check with them. At least for 3rd party. You might be careful as but as always sh!t happens, and it usually happens with you bumping a nice brand spanker merc, with a robotic transforming $20g back bumper. I've had no problem driving around unregistered cars to and from compliancers to checking stations, even had two thumbs up on the freeway from the boys in blue in a V35 with no plates
  4. So is it a genuine Aus Delivered car?? No idea about the VIN's, what i was asking is if its the same car as the one already in list or was there multiple black pace cars.
  5. Correct and Closed. Please follow forum rules.
  6. Marko, are these the same car? Below for sale add says the Falken car was the ex black pace car. Unless there was more than 1 black pace car?? http://www.ecurieinv...32-gtr-godzilla
  7. Awesome and congrats. Seems most have had air and radio fitted. So far have only seen 1 without AC Do you have the stock non AC air controller? Pretty hard to find but i do know that Nissan have them on the shelf for a nice little fee, if you ever thought about removing the AC and def +1 for pics!!
  8. N1, 91/92 Model ZN Chassis Code 326 Paint Code
  9. ^^ Looks awesome, congrats! When does it get here.
  10. haha, the last 33gtst i bought cost me just over $33k. but this was way back when i was regularly asked if it was the next ford GT - after people saw the GT badge on the front fender, and when cops pulled you over cause they wanted to have a quick chat about how cool the car was!
  11. Seriously folks, if you can help great, if not, do you really need to comment? If you want more info so you can help, then maybe say so in a nicer way?? Pointless crap removed.
  12. Hey mate, Its a sedan! on Deviant Art. Only a couple of pics. http://rengen-3d.deviantart.com/
  13. My current.
  14. If you get desperate, throw it on a lot on consignment. Yep the dealer takes their share, but it'll probably be the same as what it'll cost you to insure/rego/etc it, if it doesn't sell for another 6 months.
  15. +1 on return it back to stock. I think wheels are ok, but grill, definitely has to go and the stickers as well. Also in your brief comments, add "Family" sedan, may help with keyword searches Try runnign teh add for a couple of weeks, without the mods list. Its obvioulsy not appealing to people who want mods so try those who don't maybe?
  16. Bit late, but I'm very skeptical when it comes to wheel "sealants" nothing concrete, but i wonder how many of these products maintain their sealing properties under the high temps the wheels see due to brake heat. I've come back from a drive where the wheels are too hot to touch, so gut feel, and it is just gut feel, tells me that most sealers would probably breakdown under that kind of heat. idk, could be wrong!
  17. I don't know, maybe its jus the inner fanboy coming out, but i honestly think most people buy a GTR because they actually prefer the car. I mean with the money that is already thrown into a fair few GTR's out there, most of you guys could have bought a 911, and a boxter for the wifey as well. So i don't think its not being able to afford a prosche thats the motivation. You could also argue that most people buy a porsche cause they can't afford a 458, or Murci, or Zonda etc.
  18. Hi all, Have just done a bit of clean up and moved several topics to the events archive section. Nothing has been deleted so if its not here in the main section, please check the archive. Cheers
  19. Rumour is, it went for over 2mil yen, and is coming to Aus. That'll put it at around $40k landed and complied. Put a massive smile on my face <--- see, still smiling
  20. Thanks Mitch. Been an avid detailing reader for a while and re old panels, I was thinking about that but my concern is i don't really know where to start with the older, more damaged type paint. I've attacked a few of my cars doing paint correction and then killing them with Zaino, and i think the results are not bad for a complete amateur, but as you know much better than me, its very different correcting/detailing a car thats already in good condition compared to something than needs a lot of work. eg dry and wet sanding scare the crap out of me! Some of my handywork to date
  21. Does anyone know if any of the "pro" detailers hold training courses in Sydney? Either class room style or 1 on 1? I'm looking into getting a little more serious with detailing and rather than spend a year stuffing up my family's cars with trial and error a course with an industry leader would probably work miracles. I'm after a course where you can see 1, methods, and 2 products they use to tackle different issues. Oh, and none of those $400 DVD courses which teach you how to make $10000 per week from day 1 detailing cars.
  22. Obviously not categories for us here, but the ones i was thinking of - GT1, Super GT, JGTC (not sure 33's, but 34's were rwd) DTM, Sport Sedans (i think)
  23. ^yup R32 GTR's were always run in awd and spanked everything which is why the series moved to rwd, to even out the playing field. I'd say though that the spanking at the time of the 32's was more to do with the fact that the cars were so far advanced in all aspects compared to the rest of the field, and not just cause they had awd. It's actually pretty intersting though that most categories make awd cars convert to rwd to even things up?? Maybe your answer is right there
  24. nah, thats the start speed, it only gets quicker from there
  25. lol, epic multi posting. Got rid of about a billion, but left the rest of "oh noes" evidence
