  1. Nice work guys! I know Alex, and drag racing is his life, so if this is the first pass, I'm sure he's got plenty more planned for this beast. Lets see those 7's!!!
  2. fark me any idea what caused the belts to not wanna play, did you get her home ok
  3. Mark what happened?
  4. Maybe I should have entered. Haven't had a single wet SAU trackday in over 7 years
  5. I had the full NISMO kit when i had the V, and loved it. (Shocks, springs not coilovers) Slight drop which made 19" TE37's sit perfect, and no real harshness in teh ride, but with the NISMO swaybars felt a million times better than stock. No real need for coiloves in my case as really, when would i adjust them??
  6. Here you go, N1 pump at the back. As they're pretty cheap people do use them on non N1 engines.
  7. Was it an N1 pump that was fitted? They fit most RB motors, but there is one screw hole that is elongated compared to a standard pump which if not sealed properly will leak.
  8. ding ding ding Any falcon straight 6 turbo will be the next "tuned" car of the masses. If you think about it the reason's the skylines are a big hit is (relatively) cheap quick easy power. Sames as the VL turbo's before them, same as the Falcon turbo's after them. And completely disagree about the V35 and V36 being in that list or RX8 or anything naturally aspirated that costs $50k really. I love em and have had2 V35's but it will never be a car of the masses and a "tuned" car like the 32-34's are/were
  9. Lol. Reply to thread. Engine out!
  10. $40k worth of engine in an R31 to rip skids?? each to their own i guess
  11. Go all out - V-spec II N1 probably mid 50's on the road, once all is said and done http://j-spec.com.au/dealer/1994-Nissan-Skyline-GT-R_V_SPEC_II-4492707.html
  12. Can i ask why? If you've got nothing better to do and cash burning a hole in your wallet, all the power to you and go for it. On the other hand, if you want something specific from the car - track car, drag car etc etc, what is it about a 2j that you think the RB can't handle/do? Option 1 keep RB and spend money sorting it Option 2 pay money for 2j, pay for transplant and still have an engine no where near as good as option 1 for the same coin. I just don't get it? Oh and yes i live teh RB, but my thinking would be the same the other way around. Would never consider puutting an Rb in a supra. Not because they're not good, but because the 2j is fine.
  13. spoilers/kits yes, badges no bye.
  14. hey hey, Does anyone know any workshops that know what their doing when it comes to bleeding and adjusting an R32 GTR clutch? I know they should be like any other clutch but from what I've read they're a real bitch to bleed, and I really want someone who know's what they're doing when it comes to adjustment. I've got a Jim Berry clutch in the GTR and she's fine and has never slipped at all once warm, but the bite point over the last year has become increasingly smaller and smaller and higher up. It's really light to press, but where it bites is now either on or off.
  15. Dunc. I claimed through Shannons a month or so ago for the wifeys daily. Including a weekend I think it was 5 or 6 days from accident to cheque in the hand.
  16. Do a bit of a search has been discussed heaps. From my experience try and get every bit if paperwork you can. Auction papers from Japan, compliance papers etc etc. The last tine I bought an import from inter state I had to provide all these to the RTA and was chasing up compliance papers for a week.
  17. ^dude ae you serious? Hey Blitz, how about you break all Australian privacy laws, risk being put in jail, and paying compensation, and just publish everyone's name address email and IP details on the front page of the forums. Fark me, the stupidity in here actually hurts my head. Stop farken blaming others for your mistakes and take some responsibility. TIP OF THE DAY - If you don't want to get scammed and want 100% fool proof way of purchasing, lift your ar$e up, go to your nearest parts shop and buy what you need.
  18. no way, that article has to be a pi$$ take.
  19. Another vote for the 33. I was looking for a Series 3 V-spec when i came across the N1, and the only reason i went with the 32 is because its an N1. And as others have said, stock for stock, a 33 is a better allround car.
  20. lol
  21. lol! love the 32 GIO car cause its a 32, still think the 31 is one of the best sounding cars ever, but my god would i love that bluebird! Its the old school, small wheels, flared guards big a$$ spoilers that does it for me
  22. Nice meeting you mate ^^ What an awesome night!!! My one and only complaint is that we should have started at like 9am. I could have listened to Jim and Alan speak all day. And having the current owners of the cars there as well made it that much better. By far one of my favourite SAU events. Best part - it was extremely well organised and ran like clock work. Thanks to all that organised the night.
  23. I think he's now in Wetherill Park which is why you probably couldn't find him in Seven Hills If not there's also one in Wetherill Park with the same name
  24. Giddyup mutha bitches! Cannot wait!
