  1. Would be keen if i can convince the Redbacks that call my bag home to move out for a day. Haven't touched a club in 5years
  2. Another loyal Shannons customer making the move. $800 saving compared to Shannons limited use policy, and increased value Can't argue with that. On a side note, haven't spoken to such a helpful customer service team in a very long time.
  3. Spent some time looking through my parts lists, and unfortunately can't find it! I'm still pretty sure it is a Nissan/NISMO product though. If you look at the NISMO R32 GTR, most pics seem to show it on the NISMO's. Will keep trying to find something. It definitely looks and feels and fits like a factory item.
  4. Yeah pretty sure it is. I think i've got the part number somewhere and if i remember correctly its part of the NISMO/N1 aero package.

  9. You've had this for a while right Michael? If I'm correct this is the beast on YouTube on i think Queensland raceway struggling for traction ☺ Testing my memory now but pretty sure it has a black or carbon bonnet?
  10. Great vid Matt. Now I'm even more pissed that I couldn't make it Always awesome seeing stunning 32s.
  11. Had tyres put on the 33 once and the place rolled it out with one nut missing. They tried to tell me thats how i took it in but when i went in found the lock nut was sheered in 2 cause the monkey doing the work just went at it without the key. Didnt even attempt to hide it by replacing it with a generic one. Sadly tyre places are top of my list on places i never trust when it comes to my car.
  12. Pure Gold! Send the above to Coke or KFC. Im sure they're not worried about their business model and would much prefer people to just say you're awesome for sharing. Seriously, its simple. Pay others or put in the hard work and testing and do it yourself. At the end of it all if it works and you're happy to do it for others at the prices you want, then feel free ☺
  13. Got curious so checked out their site. Found this. Interesting and good on em. All cars sold by Road and Track are covered by our Mileage Guarantee. All our vehicles have full documented history including service history and log books. For our vehicles imported from Japan, Road and Track have also pioneered odometer certification checks performed in Japan by an independent certifier, who issue the vehicle with an odometer certificate that confirms the authenticity of the odometer reading. Road and Track are pioneers – Never before has an importer of Japanese vehicles been able to offer a mileage guarantee – Road and Track guarantees all our vehicles! We are confident you won’t buy better anywhere else! Talk with our sales team today!
  14. Sorry folks, going to disagree with a few. To me the only, and i really mean only, issue i would have using one as a daily would be worrying about it getting stolen/vandals. Thats it. If you look after it, just like any other daily on the planet, you will simply be replacing wear and tear items, and aged items like any other car that old. yes it uses abit more fuel than others, but hey, its a GTR:) Skylines, and yes even GTR's, aren't some magical cars that self destruct when used for more than a few k's a week. GTR's go bang, when abused, not when driven normally. The biggest issue with GTR's, is that 99% of people that own them, think they're $15k R32 is the same car as Skaife's Winfield GTR. So they abuse the fark out of it, redline launching at every set of lights, trying to pull more G's than a F1 around every corner, and then turn around say, WTF, GTR's go bang for no reason. Drive it like what it is - a very fast MASS PRODUCTION NON RACE CAR, and it'll treat you fine. On the flip side, if you wan't to abuse the sh!t out of it, you can do that to, just prepare the car the right way to handle that abuse Constant limiter bashing, clutch dumping launches will effect any daily, GTR's aren't anything special with a set usage restriction.
  15. Yep me. What did i do
  16. Agree. I keep in touch with a few owners and only know of 1 in Canada that is without both.
  17. Was following Chefs post yesterday with a lot of interest, and have to say, i felt a little twitch in my pants when he mentioned what negotiations would start at after it was passed in. The last N1 I'd seen from Chef before that was a V-spec with 120000k's and some mods, with no books and it went for ~ 40k landed and complied. Good to see the Japanese are finally realising what they have Was also interesting reading some of the comments. My favourites where all the posts saying get rid of the gay wheels! One can only weep for the youth of today
  18. Definitely mate. It's why i'm staying away from things like a 98 Series 3, 33 GTR, which is still the car i have to own one day I also want something that i'm not so paranoid about and can leave anywhere. Was looking at Audi S cars last night actually. Love the 370z, just not enough seats. V36 Coupe or Megane still leading the way at this stage. Only concern with the V36 is a few owners in V section have experience some issues not easily fixed, and that worries me.
  19. Thanks guys, appreciate all the help. Not sure a Focus is for me. Great cars, but maybe a little more for someone in their mid to late 20's. Just my view. Was after something a little more luxuirous, hence the V36. Thanks for reminding me about the R36. Absolutely love the wagons, so might take a look at some Stranger things have happened Tez But not thinking about letting it go right now. Give it another 3 years when they're eligible for import into the US. Actually was discussing this with a mate and doing some reading. Def seems like an issue, so we can scratch those. I might even take a few 6cyl non M model BMW's for a drive. Big fan of the coupe shapes and with the 6, might be good enough for a nice daily that isn't completely boring
  20. Yeah thought about the AMG's but have a theory that if the only car I can afford in the model is the absolute cheapest on the market, then probably not the car for me. M3's are also on the list at the moment as well.
  21. As per the title, whats out there at the moment? Thinking about a v36 Skyline, and really struggling to find anything that ticks as many boxes. Not too keen on an EVO or WRX, and I'm after something relatively new, as in a few years old. Needs to sit 4, can't been a big thing like a Commodore or Falcon Prefer a coupe. I'm on the wrong side of 35 so not sure a "hot hatch" is the right car. In saying that, Renault Megane Trophy is def on the list at the moment. Any things else?
  22. Hey Guys, Have pinned this as a heap of good discussion and info
  23. nice pics guys. I think i saw you guys not far out of Bathurst. There was a convoy of skylines and i was in the 32 heading the other way, flashing them. Was up there since Friday but had to leave early yesterday. i say next year its an SAU 3 day camping adventure. I do it every year and its one of the better events you can attend.
