Wtb N1 Boot Lip.
NISMO replied to JamesBNR32's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
They come up every now and then on yahoo japan, but expect to pay close to $1k landed for a non painted original one. Mine is warped a little, but can't justify that price at this stage so am waiting it out till i find a good used one or will buy aftermarket and keep the original in the shed -
Recommendations For Mobile Car Security Dealers
NISMO replied to GTR_JOEY's topic in New South Wales
Have used Leon from security in motion several times, and can't recommend him enough. The guy does awesome work. Can't remember which car it was for, but I once had to kick him out of the garage cause he was picking up every little bit of rubber he had stripped off the wires off of the dirty concrete floor. All the work he has done for me has been faultless both in the way he installs and operation. Last used him a few years ago, but can't imagine him changing. -
R32 Gtr Nismo Edition.
NISMO replied to evilmidgetdude's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
This is the second topic you've started about "what are they worth" with zero details of your specific car. How about you post all the relevant info + pics, and if you don't want it to go cheap, start with a high price. You'll quickly see if you've priced it too high. Any car is only worth whatever someone out there is willing to pay, and so far with all the details you've given, the best price you have is $11k. Seriously though, read the forum rules. Either post up details and price, or stick to the other exact same topic you've already started. -
R32 Gtr Nismo Edition.
NISMO replied to evilmidgetdude's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Might want to be a bit more specific and maybe have some pics. Bottom line though, unless its close to completely stock, in original condition, with low k's and paperwork to back it up, you'd struggle getting any kind of a premium over a normal 32 GTR. -

would love to, but away and get back on the 20th. -
so far not a fan, if only it was easy to go back to W7! Metro looks great but that's about it. They've built this whole platform on Apps, but without the Apps.

yeah, dude i agree with alot of what your saying. To me it's just heaps of people are saying they want track days, which is great. Including some of the flat beak hat patrol, so to me it's up to the club (not just the execs but all of us) to find a way to turn the enthusiasm in the forums into attendance on the day. And yes i know i'm stating the obvious, but the great minds on our exec team should be able to swing it Eric, what i was trying to get at was more about getting members to commit well in advance to minimise the clubs loses. What about a pay by the month track day? eg, if the track day in 2013 is set for july, allow members to pay $20 per month between now and then so it's not a big hit at once?
-
Not trying to be a dick, but i really can't see this happening, and its kind of a waste of the effort you guys already put in to spend it on an idea that will almost be impossible to get off the ground. Logistics would be a nightmare as you said. Who pays for any damage? the driver or the group. What if the whole group takes it easy and enjoys it while the last guy revs the tits off it and blows the motor every time he steps in? You'd also probably need to get some kind of legal involvement to make it fair for all, which is more money the club doesn't have. Great idea between mates, but for me not something a club does.

Something to think about is that a lot of people are keen for trackdays, in this thread and others, so if the club can find a way to run them and limit liability or eliminate it all together then its a win. As mentioned above, non refundable deposits is a start. For a $200 odd trackday i personally would have no issue paying a non refundable $100 deposit well in advance. Nearly every other regular track event does this. Also discounted price the further out you book? Gets people thinking and preparing in advance and gives the club a big heads up if spots aren't filling. Another thing to me is that SAU NSW is WAAAAAAYYYYYY to lenient with letting other people advertise for free their events in our events sections. I normally have no issue with it, but when the club is running an event eg trackday, then all other similar events should be removed until its full. Yes it may piss off a few people, but we are here for SAU, and need to look after our own backyard first. Half of the events are advertised on most jap car forums anyway so those who want them can usually find them. I completely understand the risks and being a past unelected member of the committee know how hard it is to fill some of these events, but we used to sell out 2-3 trackdays a year. Whats changed??

That was me in the 32. Loved the sound of your 33, and 34 was nice as well.
-
thanks Jet, just a real shame not to see the usual full grid of cars, but completely understand what you're saying.

Anyone know why heaps of Grp A and C cars are missing from muscle car masters this year? Was out there today and heaps weren't running or at the even, including the Winfield 32, and the 31. But the Bluebird and GIO cars were there. VL's were missing, hardly any Sierra's. Something must have gone down as its pretty much the premier event for these cars.
-
Yep, love SAU NSW trackdays. I understand there's the nats, but that'll fill up with hypo cars in minutes. SAU track days were the most chilled out relaxed fun track days out there. We need another SAU NSW Wakie day

Hey Michael, that was me mate. Your car is stunning, easily one of the best looking 32's. My boys absolutely loved it, and your wheels look amazing when driving!!!! Was actually going to go to Robertson as well on the way back from Jervis Bay, but decided to do the grand pacific dr instead.
-
Hasn't that shell been advertised here on SAU as well?? Pretty sure it was a few years back.

+2 my fav by far. Don't get me wrong, love the Z-Tune, but the fact that the 400R was the first balls out GTR that Nissan made just makes it a little more special to me. The only one I've seen here is a replica that raced Targa and was involved in a pretty big accident. Price wise, they're actually not that bad, have seen some that weren't in the best condition which would be well under 100k landed. mmmmmmmmm

Private road dude. I have 6m by 5m of unadulterated driveway pavement heaven. They can't touch us
