  2. Rev , I had Grant at Per4manz rebuild mine using SR20 shafts/steel zorst wheels & housings , it works a treat! , you would have to change your dump pipes tho. Good luck dude
  3. Congratulations!! Your nomination for "Nob-end of the Month" has been accepted! :kick: I still use the Wolf with Great Results, on stock coils & splitfires! It now controls my 26 auto , using a 25 harness & stock 26 CAS.... Ewen , as for where to get it tuned , go to whoever your Happy with...just remember that no-one can tune out mechanical flaws like udersized exhaust housings , dodgy injectors etc... Cheers
  4. Dsturbd has SEVERAL sets of rotors on www.crazyimports.net pm him if ya need
  5. Chris, Leave the stock ECU in , just use the stinger for fuel / ignition... All Good
  6. 250rwhp is well within reachable relms Dump pipe....even an X-Force 1 Apexi SAFC Boost controller..maybe run 10psi & your there! Even without the SAFC , you could run a few more psi safely as your on the rich side anyway. for about 220rwhp You might want to have a real close look at an EMS stinger ecu laced in instead of SAFC , it is more cost but also gives you ignition control & would be handy for future mods Cheers Troy Rep.
  7. Exellent! A new "Ants Nest" I would go & see him...cept I cant get threw the swarm of hormonal women that constantly surround him! Good luck Guys
  8. Cool Chris , that skyline was a good one , but could easily be made notabley quicker
  9. Hey Niz, you can come & visit us down here anytime, I set the car up for ya
  10. The auto's in the lines dont sap any real power at all! They can run more consistant times due to the stall being fixed , they dont shock diffs & tailshafts when you launch unlike a manual/cluctch drop as well as having a torque multiplying effect , but best of all...you can stall em up to make BOOST on the start line! no lag
  11. Go the auto! My first setup , with stock ecu / turbo ran 13.4@ 106mph. 2nd setup ran 12.6 @ 114mph & 3rd setup....well I'll tell ya after Drag Combat! As a sidenote , one of the Forum Members just put an AUTO in his 530rwhp GTR (GTS4 4wd auto) that will be interesting tomorrow Cheers Troy Rep.
  12. tough call big guy , short of actually removing the head ( my personal prefference ) , you could look for signs of a rebuild , new gaskets , belts , pumps etc?....the sump seal is an easy 1 to spot , it's all gasket goo..grey is origonal & orange is replacement ( not always , but both are nissan goo just the grey one is much more $Bling$ ) Good luck
  13. Hi All, At first I was embarressed to ask about something as simple as a BOV , but, after a week of asking all those "In the Know" without resolution , I'm over it! I have put an RB26 into an R33 auto & everything else is sweet , but , at light throttle / low boost 5 to 10 psi the BOV bounces venting air like a train! Tried: a number of BOV's both Piston & diaphram style settled on a Turbosmart Type 2 Vee port put a vacume/boost gauge on the signal line & checked for Pulses = 0 Tried every vacume/boost source I can find! Fuel reg , boost gauge , stepper motor , tank vent canister without sucsess , I even tried "T"ing some of them together..... I believe that the multiple throttles on the 26 is what is giving me grief , I just cant find a source AFTER the throttles that is ballanced. It cant be that hard..... this is :bs!: I will donate my vital organs to anyone who can solve this problem Cheers Troy Rep
  14. Thanx Pete , As for ET & MPH , I'd settle for 12.5 @ 115..... as long as its better than my last run (except this is in street trim = No Nos) I'm not sure quite how bad I want to beat up on it , but lets face it , by the end of the day I'll probably be Stalling it up against the handbrake!!!
  15. I'm trying hard NOT to think about it dude .... But I think 10k would cover it for a straight engine change ( including the engine that is) It starts to add up when you go for Modded turbs , Split gate dumps Custom Intakes etc...trust me Cheers
  16. Thats right , my R33 4 auto 4 door now totes an RB26dett :flamed: Its been a long 12 months since the demise of the 1st 25 , with only a brief (4000 kms ) stint with a forgied 25 ( this is a long , costly & painfull story that I will leave to my Lawyers!) all of which lead me to , with a little help from that zoom article , putting an Rb26 into the 4 door. Basicly , I was able to fit the 26 into the 25's hole by using the 25 engine mounts & just turning the drivers side 1 around 180 degrees. Then shorten the throttle cable , add a GTR radiator top hose & ta da! I have retained to 25s engine loom so I can keep the Wolf ecu that alows me to run the auto , we just had to change the injector plugs to Bosch ones & change the function of the 25s VVT switch to now be the air temp sensor Although , with the help of Wolf tech support , I am able to use the 26 Cam Angle sensor & change the way the map reads to Ref & Sync. (instead of the modified 25 cas , used for dual point sensing) which has made Cold starts much more reliable. The 26 is out of an R33 GTR with 51 000ks on it , stock internals & injectors , & the only mods are GReddy adjustable cam gears. The GTR turbs were rebuilt using T28 (SR20) zorst wheels & housings because they are Steel , & much bigger! The auto remains stock ( bigger trans cooler coming) but using Redline Racing ATF which has practically removed any "slip" on the now quite abrubt Gear changes :aroused: The end result..........376.9rwhp with boost spikes to 20psi before settling to 18psi & I am bloody happy with that! The real test will be Drag combat on the 23rd of April so...fingers crossed no :Bang: Thanks heaps To George & Sean from Adrenaline ( experience counts) Bart for crazyimports.com & Steve from Maytech & here's the pics GTS26tt

  24. Good stuff Mate , keep pushing it My auto ( when it was stock turbo & ecu ) made a best of 13.4 @ 106mph (280 rwhp) I didn't lunch an auto until mid 300s rwhp , & even then it was only heat that killed it! I'm trying "Redline racing ATF" now ( with a bigger cooler!) , I'll keep you informed..... GO THE AUTO!
