Nismo Radius Rod
CameronBNR32 replied to kevzilla's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I've read that aswell, but with the nismo BNR32 track link set, lower arm is longer, and the castor rod is longer. the only thing that is the same as stock is the upper arm. -
Fs: Pwr 55mm Radiator Suit R32 Gtr
CameronBNR32 replied to upgarage's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
you cant compare quality between PWR radiators to cheap ebay crap. I run one of these in my track car, and it works fantastic. flog the shit out of the car for 5 laps, come into pits, and water temp is 82 degrees. -
Mark, do you think the 500hp model will handle track work ok? My engine is pushing around about 800hp at the flywheel, and I mainly use the car for sprints, so now I'm wondering whether or not the 600-1000hp is over kill since you have been using the 500hp model with ~1100hp at the engine just fine....

I've used one of those level camber tools, very practical and helpful when at the track.

Rb26 Oil Filter/cooler/warmer Block Plate ?
CameronBNR32 replied to CameronBNR32's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Hey, thanks all for all the great info! I think I'll get the oil cooler adaptor type b from greddy http://www.trust-power.com/spec_swf/04cool...RepairParts.swf Has the sensor fittings that I need, but not sure on what thread or pitch yet I'm going to pull off all the stock oil cooler and see what I have to do to mount it there.... Does anyone know if I have to drill/tap a fitting in there? or does it already have a thread/fitting there? Will see when I pull it all off I guess.... GeeTR: my car is more of a track car than street, I hardly ever drive it and when I do I warm it up before driving it anywhere. -
Rb26 Oil Filter/cooler/warmer Block Plate ?
CameronBNR32 replied to CameronBNR32's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
thanks guys for the info, I've got an aftermarket oil cooler and a oil filter relocation kit already. I'm really just wanting to get rid of all of this and replace it with a plate on the block, then run the lines straight from that to the filter relocation plate / after market oil cooler. -
Does anyone know of a company that makes a oil filter block plate for the RB26? I've searched around and havn't found any company that makes this, only oil filter relocation kits that bolt straight onto the warmer/cooler. I want to run the lines straight out from the block to the filter/cooler. starting to wonder why there arnt many companies making these for the rb26, maybe its not a good idea?? cant see any problem with it apart from the loss of the oil warmer and having to wait a little more time to let the oil warm up before driving... I'm after a plate exactly like this one, made by Tomei for the SR20, but I'm obviously after one for rb26.. thanks

I pulled off the plenum today to clean up the piping and wiring abit, and was thinking of removing the aac valve... as I'm not running anything air-con anymore, and the lowest I can get the motor to idle is at around 1100-1200rpm anyway due to the cams. Question is, can I remove it? will my idle go to hell and stall / high rev with out it? I have to get a retune for the new fuel system going in so I'm thinking of getting rid of it all now so the tune can be done to take these into account. (if possible) Also the 'Air Regulator' can I remove this aswell? is it there to help the engine warm up? let more air into the engine while warming up? thinking of removing this aswell if I can... If I can get rid of the AAC Valve and the Air Regulator, I'm thinking of joining hose 1. and 2. If I can get rid of the AAC Valve and not the Air Regulator, I was going to join 1. 2. and 3. together. good idea? bad idea? If its not a good idea I'll just leave it all alone

Silk Road Front Upper Camber Arms
CameronBNR32 replied to CameronBNR32's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Greenline I went ahead and got the Section arms, they are made rather well but I can see what SK means by being a bitch to adjust, you basically have to pull them out, reset, and put back in, I installed them on their lowest camber setting (pulled all the way in), and I didnt get much negative camber at all... Would it be super dodgey to slot the mounts? -
Big Fuel Pump Setup Options For R32 Gtr
CameronBNR32 replied to MAD R32 GTR !'s topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I've got pritty much the same fuel system, 800cc sards, dual entry rail, twin 044's etc, I'm running the stock fuel lines as feed lines from each 044 to each end of the dual rail and running a bigger -10 return line back to the surge tank. seems to work ok... but the pumps do get hot after some driving / unused hot fuel returning from the engine bay. In the process of making a new surge tank setup so the 044's are internally mounted in the surge tank and get cooled by the surrounding fuel.. maybe some kind of fuel cooler and running solid lines from the surge tank out of the boot as the fuel smell gets abit much if the cars left for awhile. -
T78 33D 479awhp @ 17psi getting retuned soon with the new bigger fuel system, so will see what she does around 1.7bar, hoping around the 600awhp area..

Went to order a set of the Noltec front upper camber adjustable arms for my 32 gtr today, and have been told they have been discontinued... now I'm looking at the Silk Road front camber arms as they seem to be of the same design/principle... has anyone bought these? or seen them in the flesh? just trying to gauge adjustability/reliability I guess... . I've also looked at the Midori front upper links but I'm not too keen on paying $650+ when the Silk Road arms are ~$350.
