  1. I'm running out of options for someone that is willing to insure R34 GTRs. Know of anyone for sure? Tried Famous, Shannon, Suncorp, Heath Lambert, AON, Torque Underwriting. All to no avail.
  2. Damn, Torque doesn't do GTRs...bloody hell!
  3. Just called Suncorpe Insureance. That was a waste of time....$13k. Obviously it was marked up intentionlly cos they don't want the business. Let me try Torque now.
  4. I'm having trouble finding an insurance company that will insure my GTR R34. I have called AON, Heath Lambert, Famous, SHANNON's, JUST CARS and they can't help. Famous says they don't so cars over $60k...that's rediculous. Can someone clarify this??? I'm 30yr old and have 60% so I don't know why it's so hard. Please let me know if you know of anyone who have their R34 GTR insured with someone.
  5. I'm having trouble locating someone that will renewal my R34 GTR insurance. I just called Famous after all the rave and they said they don't cover car over $60k. IS THAT REALLY TRUE??? That limit is way to low and I need some advice here before my insurance runs out. Larry Tyler, can you confirm this as your people on the phone cannot help me.
  6. Lucky for me, I have not found the right buyer, so I get to enjoy it a bit more....hehe. It has been locked up in the garage for the last 6 months as I've been overseas but look out for me now...I'm back on the forum and causing trouble on the streets again. hehe
  7. "Welcome back swoop, your last visit was 10-05-03" I have a lot of catching up to do....where the hell do I start...hehhe
  8. GTRKING, I don't negotiate online. If you are serious PM me and we'll work something out.
  9. LEX-BOY, if you almost pissed in your pants from the G-force when I took you for a spin, then I doubt your dad can handle it given his heart condition. He would not be suited in such an awesome car. It is reserved for a chosen few with the right $$$$....
  10. Franks, good to see you having fun man. I took my yellow Fellow out there as well when I had the GTT and it was an awesome day. Didn't get as good pics as you though...they are magazibe quality dude. Print them and enlarge for your office or study I say. What camera was use to get STILLS like that? Looks pro.
  11. I have one for Sale as well if anyone is still intersted. It is exactly the same one and I will sell it for $200, quick sale. Use twice to measure my GTR 0-100...
  12. I'm looking for a good 4WD. If someone has a good 4WD (eg Rav 4, 5 door, 2nd hand Jeep Grand, Mazda Tribute, Ford Explorer, etc) I would consider a trade + $85k on top. It has to be a recent model though like 2002+ if it is a Rav or cheaper 4WD, preferable in black. Does this help anyone get into an R34 GTR? Sorry, I don't want to sell an R34 to get into an R33 GTR. I'm not desperate to sell me car, but willing to pass on the privelege to the right buyer...plate is negotiable.
  13. Yes please do.... Mosman motors have a GTR for $105k with 30, 000kms on it. Powerplay IMports has one pure stock standard with 32,000ks and they are asking for $115. They have sold 3 others in the last 6 months, all above $115K. My car has less Ks and more bits inside and out so you are not comparing apples with apples man, Ecomomics only applies to production cars, that is why some ancient COBRAs replica can still fetch $60k because it is a unique car. Now where is the economic in that?
  14. Usuckpoo...that is exactly what I think of you. You obviously do not know a GTR from shit man....GTR R34 varies from $85 to $125k depending whats on it and what's been done to it. Starting at the $85k scale, you have min 30, 000km on the clock, been on track and over thrashed, then you have the ones about $100k with lower Ks but still prob been on the track and thrashed, and then you have the upper scale GTR R34 with low Ks, stock standard on purchase and add on original Nismo parts.... and where do you get off comparing a GTR, one of a kind to a BMW Roadster? Did you stumble across this forum by accident kiddo? All in all, say what's on your mind but if you can't afford it, just leave it at that, this post was not suppose to be for discussion or for opinions without facts to back it up. Sure I have seen $85k GTR but I know it's not in the condition SWOOP is in, now way. See it in the flesh anc compare a $85k GTR Vs a $100K plus GTR and you can count the difference if not the scratches on the cheaper model. Sorry but I did take offence and you will find others will too if you start comparing any GTR with BMW roadster.
  15. That is a nice black GTT. I have a soft spot for black cars cause they come up like showroom finish after you take it to the carwash. I had a yellow GTT R34 with the exact same body kit (C-West) and that made a big difference to how nice it looks. That is a genuine C-West from what I can tell and it cost me like $8k to get it supply, fitted and painted. I say Buy iT!!! Its a great daily drive and you will get attention. Your little boy will love it too as it gives him a bit of a rush when you give it a hit. He'll be saying, "Daddy, go faster, my tummy tickles" hahah. Well, that's what my nephew said to me anyway, but uncle instead of daddy...small point of clarification there.
  16. Next car? Prob thinking of Merc ML 350 (4WD). Going back to luxury. GTR was awesome when it lasted but it was never a long term thing for me, more of an early mid life crisis, even though I'm not even 30. hehe Also, with the import law restricting more GTR R34 coming into the country, I thought its time to pass on the privilege to someone else to enjoy. After seeing what potentially the R35 will look like. I know the R34 looks much more agressive and the RB26 will remain a legend.
  17. Guys, thanks for all the support and suggestions. Next time, I will give the pranksters the address to Akira and have Minh waiting at the front with his singlet doing a super flex. That would about scare anyone off their witts. My next ride will be a Datsun 180...aint no-one will be calling me with threats in that classic.
  18. Yup, it was a mobile line and although I didn't take it to heart, I was si furious that I was tempted to give him my address so that I could wait for him outside and take my anger out but I knew that would have been a stupid idea as it was my anger that's doing the thinking and not my brain. Once I calmed down, I knew they were just threats and have no balls to do anything else. A smart thief would have played it cool and did it differently instead of demanding me to hand over my ride over the phucken phone, I mean how stupid is that? Anyways....can't be too carefull these days, too many sik kunts out there, pardon the french fellas.
  19. So no serious buyers for such a popular car? Sell your mum's house if you have to, trust me, it's worth it, you can live in it. haha.
  20. It's sad but there are dickheads out there who would go to extreme lengths to threaten people's life because they are too Phucken stupid to earn enough money to own a GTR. I had my car advertised in the SMH during the easter weekend and some dickhead called up, pretending to be interested in the car and when I refused to give him my address as I was sus, he burst out in a cry of desperation saying, "Give me your car or I'll slash your throat". Obviously I did not waste my time with this call and hung up after this but just wanted to warn you guys out there who own exotic import cars. If you plan to sell your car, be carefull who you give the address to. First thing is to ask for a LAN number where you can call them back at a more convenient time. If they refuse, hang up as they are obviously not serious. I made the mistake of continuing to talk to this guy long enough for him to threatened me but at least I didn't give him my address, but the threat was enough to get my blood boiling at 110 degrees. SO be careful guys. It is sad but there are dickheads out there and some are crazy enough to do stupid things to get hold of your ride. Be smart and be aware of the warning signs and know the difference between a serious buyer and a time waster. All the best boys. Sorry I haven't been around to chat but have shitloads to do. See you around. hahah:p
  21. I don't understand the painted calipers. The standard colour is gold anyway so why paint over the word "Brembo"??? On the track, it would probably blow me away but he would have spent $30k easy on top to get the engine looking like that....very shmick I must admit.
  22. ...close but no cigars. If you read my description earlier, I said that if you are after a GTR R34 under $100k, you are wasting yout time. Anything under 100K would have been in a prang or have been thrashed at race track in Tokyo. SWOOP has never been on a race track and had 3000km on the clock when it arrived in Australia. Seriously, this is a grade 5 and not a scratch. I will deduct $1k off for each scratch you can find....and I don't mean microscopic ones from the swirl marks. hahah
  23. [RYAN], damn right brother, he aint no genuine west side. I grew up in Cabramatta and proud to be part of the TWS....but must admit, nice GTR though....but too much shit done to it for my liking. Hey Ed, track this dude down and grab those std GTR wheels of him. Offer him $3k for it. They are like $9k to replace new. In terms of mods, this car is a whore...engine looks nice too. Must do 11s easy from what I can see....but he doesn't have one thing that I do....Genodore Mirrors, that is 30kw in itself...heheh.

    cops..

Merli, it may be bad advice but it is by the book. If you read at the bottom of any speeding ticket or parking fine, it actually says to pay your fine then dispute. That is the only reason why I said that...I personally wouldn't do it myself but sometimes if you play by the book, they might be a bit more lenient than usual.
  25. Ok guys, here are the full specs but I will not list price on the forum. If you are genuinely interested, PM with unanswered questions but this thread is not intended for negotiation. Let just say that in aint your average GTR R34 and it aint less than $100k. If you want to make a reasonable offer, PM me or call me and I'll give you the price I'm after. You are wasting your time if you are after a cheap R34 GTR. This is in prestine condition and arrived in Australia with only 3000km on the clock, next to brand new. And when I say no mods, I meant no engine modifications, Just exhaust, electronic boost and HKS Intercooler. That is it....oh, and 4 new tyre caps but some damn kids pinched all four now. The mirrors were $900. The DVD system sounds better than some home theatre system I have heard, seriously. Full Descriptin: Nissan Skyline GTR R34 V-Spec, 1999, 16500km 4WD, V SPEC, FULL NISMO BODY KIT, Twin Air Bag, Power Steering, Power Windows, CARBON FIBRE Power Aero Mirrors, Central Locking, Climate Control Air Conditioning, HKS Exhaust, HKS GT Front Mount Intercooler, NISMO 320 Klm Instruments, V SPEC II NUR Badging, APEXI AVC-R, HKS Rev/Speed Limiter, G Tech Performance Meter, Full Double Din DVD/TV/MP3 in dash Entertainment system, BOSTON Speakers, Black on Gold NSW Number Plates "SWOOP", Registration, Warranty.
