Hit a gutter the other day, and the lip of my te37 is smashed inwards.... Tired hasn't gone down and bit scared to drive my car. Can it be fixed if so any recommended places preferably western suburbs. Any help would be appreciated

Hey guys my car is up for sale. Its a 1998 WHITE R34 25GT. I'm the second owner of this car since it was imported in 2008. I'm selling it because I'm off my P-plates very soon and think its time to upgrade to a turbo R34. The car has only been used to drive from where I live in melton to geelong to travel to uni & back other than that very rarely taken out. I got the car with around 75,XXX km's and since it is up to 122,XXX from highway driving. I've never had any problems with the car, love it to death and it has not been in any accidents. The car also comes with some tasteful mods which include: Extractors from DKNE in NSW that have been shipped down, and a custom made 2.5" extractor back exhaust system with high flow cats as well as a 3" cannon. The car is very loud for a non-turbo and a real head turner! The full exhaust system cost around $3,500 all up. Stock exhaust can be included if it is wanted. (pics are from before exhaust got put on) It also has split fire coilpack ignition system & high flow K&N panel filter. $16,900 ono. I understand where your coming from, if the driver was caught doing 160km/h on a country freeway late at night with no traffic to test out his new car it something then maybe abit of sympathy however over 0.05 aswell, it's clearly absolute wreckless behaviour and no sympathetic way to look at it

speaking of 'obvious', it's quite obvious a little clutch slip does not lead to you being propelled to 60-80km/h over the speed limit nor does it put enough alcohol in your blood to send you over 0.05. Being over the legal blood-alcohol limit and while doing 60-80km/h over the speed limit are not little split second mistakes as your clutch example so the comparison does not work hence people probably would stick up for that person where this is complete disreguard for everyone including the driver themselves.

I've seen people get done when the camera is on my side, lhs, and they're oncoming to the camera, although these are only little 2 way roads not highways... I wouldn't imagine it could get you across the Calder, how would it be able to focus close and far at the same time...

he was going to represent me until I told him what happened, I told him I did nothing and he said "now come on, I your not honest I can't help you" I'm like dude, I'm not retarded I know that, trust me what I've told you is what happened and I'm being shafted for f**k all, so he said that it would needed to be done properly and he doesn't have the time as he was going overseas for abit so he referred me to Charles who by the outcome was fan-bloody-tastic!! I think some people on here should go sit in the courts for a day listen (try not laugh) at how many people get caught with suspended/cancelled license and no rego and just get let off with a fine not even extension of suspension... If I knew it was like that I wouldn't stress about losing my license just start saving for if I get caught

I only thought about it after although I'm guessing legally it would be viable, because the 2 charges relating to the impound were dropped in other words rubbish, but the costs would out weigh the $300 impound fee plus i'm really pleased with the outcome so I'll just let it go and be done with it I guess.

Well today was the big day! I had spoken to Michael kuzilny from MK Law who referred me to a lawyer named Charles Gidley. I was charged with 1- dangerous driving 2- loss of traction 3- carless driving 4- improper hook turn before I went into court my lawyer talked to the police prosecutor and dangerous driving as well as loss of traction was dropped. (minimum sentence for dangerous is 6 month license loss) I pleaded guilty to careless and improper hook turn and received a $500 fine. All in all I think the magistrate saw it from my point of view and i'm extremely happy with the outcome to not have lost my license. The whole thing stunk from the beginning and I think it is fair. Although why was my car impounded even though the traction charge was dropped which was the only reason they had to impound it, I'm not sure although all in all can't complain and am very happy about the outcome and glad it's all over!!! Oh if anyone wants this lawyers number happy to PM you it, he was fantastic and absolutely worth the 1600 to keep my license and only get a fine!!
