  1. Rocket industries in Sydney do a 3 gauge (52mm) panel. But it's made by autometer so expect to pay top dollar. I got a single gauge panel (VDO) from a company called Airco in Sydney, $8.40 inc GST. (the Autometer equivalent was $40) !!?? Didn't enquire about a 3 gauge panel, but if Airco have one, the price should be sweeeet. http://www.airco.com.au/ Hope this helps.
  2. Yep, I have done this & it's the go. I believe Leisure & Allied Industries are based in Perth & can steer you in the right direction for a cabinet. Do a search for & you should get quite a few DIY pages if you're so inclined.
  3. Executer 2 ??
  4. Well ***uoka me, I've been VBulletined
  5. b005t, what you describe above is spookily IDENTICAL to what came in my car.... was your Jap dealer Nissan Prince in ***uoka ??? Shame 'bout the Puretron not working 'coz i'ts very practical rice (which I wasn't expecting by the look of it).
  6. Hey Guys, Push type clutch for: R32 GTST, R32 GTR, R33 GTST Pull type clutch for: R33 GTR maybe someone else can help with R34 ?? I recently fitted a used HKS twin (from R32 GTR) to a R33 gtst. Bolts straight in . Bobs you're auntie. Twin plates rock. Especially solid centres !
  7. check out www.digital-digest.com have a look around this site you will find your answers !
  8. I recently fitted an HKS filter (green foam) yes they come out of the box oiled - good idea to do so.
  9. The dealer I bought my car from put shitty 92 RON fuel in it & I had the same probs til I filled it ('bout 30k's later) Have you put good fuel in it ? Otherwise almost certainly plugs. Enjoy !!
  10. It's in very good nick other than the fact the thread is worn. (ie, knob rotates on the stick) So a drill, tap & grub screw will be required -or- some sort of shim. Any workshop can do this for you in about a minute if you're not equipped with these tools... To be frank, I dislike this gearknob - too heavy & B-I-G.
  11. Bro, I've got one you can have for $20 PM me if keen.
  12. 10-4 Copy That !!
  13. check this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...s=&threadid=408 curiously, changing to copper plugs gapped @8mm fixed my stalling problem - so it seems it could be any one of three issues BOV, fuel pressure or in my experience, plugs ! must be difficult for you not speaking Nihongo... Good Luck with it.
  14. Rail is the most economical method. My ex did the same (Adelaide to Sydney). Was much cheaper than road. Hope this helps.
  15. big 10-4. Had the same misfire (4-5k on the tacho). NGK coppers @8mm sorted it easy.
  16. Justjap have 'em for $89 Bargain.
  17. This puppy rocks da house !! Awesome feel & smooth take-up... a l i t t l e grabby, but easy to manipulate in traffic. not heavy at all. The fitter was astounded how easy it was to drive given it's not centre sprung. Highly recommended. rebuild kits are cheap. five stars.
  18. A good exhaust shop will make & fit one for you for $200-$250. Any more & they're out to rip you off !!
  19. Cheers everybody ! Will source a bearing 1st thing tomorrow... and get th' Big Datto back on the road *giggles churlishly in anticipation*
  20. Thanks for the tips... I've inspected it ( disassembled ) & there's still plenty of meat on the discs ( both sides of both plates). don't suppose you'd know the part# on the thrust bearing ? would like to have all parts before I start. Thanks so much for your help !!
  21. thanks Toda, It's a GD Pro (solid centre) About 40% worn. My car is pretty much stock, I found replacement plates on HKS USA website for USD$150 ea. I'm reckoning that being a near-stocker it should last for ages - and when the time comes to rebuild, should be pretty economical. What are your thoughts ?? Cheers very much.
  22. Hi Guys, Anyone had any experience with this item ?? I Know some members here have the PULL type HKS on GTR's (RB26DETT & some others who have only negative feedback) but the item I have is definitely PUSH type for RB25. Is it a Barry Crocker, or a good score for AUD$600 ?? Thanks in advance legends !! BD
  23. Silverwater Auto Services (SAS) can also tune F-con. $125 for HKS laptop hire + fit + dyno. BD4's can also do it. They will want to keep your car overnight for a proper cold start diagnostic. I called both last week to enquire - neither would commit (over the phone) to an estimate of cost. perehaps you'll get a more committed response - I'm curious to know....
  24. Eucalyptus oil will dissolve just about any sticky residue. get it from your local pharmacy !!
