If you are interested, I have a water-to-air intercooler for sale at the right price. Purchased to go on a vehicle which has since been sold. The advantages are: 1/ MUCH shorter intake path - therefore better throttle response & reduced lag ( see the pic of SR20 motor). 2/ more efficient for its given size 3/ very stable temps regardless of atmospheric or underbonnet conditions. 4/ invisible to Mr. Plod 5/ can be located out of the airstream. The con is: requires ancillaries (pump, small radiator, switching mechanism) Preferrred by the rotary crowd or where space is at a premium. Hope this adds, etc.

Been in the game since the year dot. did a full system on my previous car at a silly price. Exemplary workmanship. His Dad worked for GM & Chrysler (Stateside) designing OEM exhausts & I think Ford Australia too. Knows his stuff.

I Have the same damn thing !! only started recently... according to a well known & respected Skyline tuner it's either: 1. Plugs (fouled, incorrect gap etc) 2. AFM (fouled, faulty) He tells me that "narrow band" issues like this are nearly always due to one or both !! Hope this adds, etc.

Do a search on Autospeed.com for They tested swags of 'em & the VDO was one of the more inaccurate models...Autometer was a shocker too. From memory the Pricol gauge was very good & reasonably priced. Hope this helps.

Yep, you're right Steve, The hotter a gas is, the faster it travels- if you can retain heat within the pipe...so much the better + your cat converter will be more efficient ( only works above a certain temp).

Pops, If you want the best deal on thermal coatings in Sydney - talk to Col Ivory @ Ivory Special Coatings in Smithfield. Did a set of extractors for me at 1/2 the price of HPC. Also does exhaust housings, manifolds, whatever & real quick turnaround too. Hope this adds, etc.
