Hey Y'all, I recently had a great experience with an ebayer in California, so I thought I'd share it with the community. This guy sells new Garrett & HKS BB turbos at very good prices. I bought an HKS GT2535 for $USD 850. By the time it landed (EMS) & I picked it up from the Customs gateway in Clyde, I was out of pocket $AUD 1134.52, and yes it is brand new in the box. He emailed to say: Quote: For T3 flange the smallest I have is GT30R ball bearing units, and of course GT3540R ball beaing. I also carry Nismo type Group N direct bolt on RB26DETT turbos for the Skyline. See attached image. I have special deal on these items for $750 each. They are full ball bearing, direct bolt on. 350 hp each (700 with two turbos). So let me know. I also carry the full line of TiAl wastegates and BOVs. The "gutbuster" (braking) is what causes internal organ/detached retina damage ! These guys have titanium balls, in an inconel scrotum. I love the sensation of every hair on your body standing on end from the SPL that only top fuellers can deliver... it's a 'must-see-before-you-die' for everybody.

If anything the restrictor would cause boost to rise faster, by smoothing/slowing airflow to the WG actuator thereby delaying its cracking open. Does the rod to the wastegate flapper have any play or is it rock solid ? Can you move it fore & aft by hand ? I can't think of anything else offhand that would cause your prob...

General rule of thumb: Short trumpet, good for power (like tuned length header) Long trumpet, good for torque (like interference header) Those in the pr0n industry would disagree... I tried a bunch of different bellmouths on twin webers on a high comp L series motor some time ago. The overall spread of power & torque didn't really differ that much, just moved up or down the RPM range. that's been my real world experience anyways. Have fun.

Nice result reflex, awesome result silva ! are you running std injectors also ? I just picked up one these turbos new-in-HKS-box for USD$850, T25 flange. No biggie as I have a T3 .64 A/R HKS turbine housing thats a direct swap. Looking forward to a similar result. GT2535_won.bmp
