  1. God of War, God of War & God of War. Check the reviews, 'nuff said. BTW good luck finding it at your video shop. It's brutal & gory, not for kiddies.
  2. Series or Parallel ? Carbon film, Metal film or wirewound ? Got a Dyno chart ? 1/4 mile timeslip ? Lap times improved ? Do you know a reputable workshop with the skills & facilities to carry out this work ? I won't trust my baby with any shonk !
  3. Too bad Micro$haft record Eeprom data every time anyone connects to Live! & will ban that Box if a mod is detected. :kick: Too bad if anyone wants to play an online game stored on an aftermarket HDD: banned again. And Micro$$$haft want $$$ for this ??? :usuck: I'll stick with Kai thanks. If SAU charged me by the month, then banned me for an aftermarket ECU I wouldn't have to think too long about posting elsewhere.
  4. I can't explain that one... It works for me with every HDL/HDA I've tried  HDLoader modified with ToxicOS core, designed to boot from a mem card rather than from CD/DVD. ToxicOS is an OS for the DMS4 modchip which enables a lot more functionality. http://www.exploitstation.com/index.php?page=elfs second link from the bottom of the list. I suggest you check out Alex's website a few posts up. With your retail HDadvance you can install any HDL/HDA onto your memcard & put the HDA discs away ! He's got awesome tut's that will walk you thru step-by-step, to PS2 Independence ! (major props to Alex, your site ROCKS !) Hope that helps some.
  5. Hi CK, SoulCalibur 2 - Only works with ToxicOS HDL/HDA, a hack version. GT3 - should work OK. GT4 - needs to be patched & PC installed (HDLdumb, Winhiip etc) a somewhat involved process.
  6. I have a notebook HDD in a USB box, it powers from the USB port on the PS2. Use a short cable or you may encounter probs (didn't like the USB ext. cable).
  7. Only posted about in "the usual places" today. Had I known sooner I would have posted sooner ! Saves soooo much d!cking around, it works great, even generates a 100mB dummy file into the image.
  8. The good people at AusDigital have released an all-in-one GUI based Exploit disc compiler to make life VERY easy for everyone. details at http://www.ausdigital.net/ Enjoy ! P.S. Just tested the compiler, it works 100%. Took about 90 seconds to get a full .ISO image ready to burn, & it installed no probs. Too easy.
  9. Drive must be dedicated. It's UNIX formatted.
  10. Hi Ed, I use Xlink as well, Username: Upl1nk I'm hanging to play OutRun 2 on Kai, But nobody ever does ! If you want to tee something up, let me know.
  11. I loved playing FarCry. It had me stopping and just gawking at the amazing realism of the outdoor levels. Yes the AI is super tuff eh ? Tip: Use the binoculars - lots, I mean all the time. They'll show enemies on your radar from a loong distance. Target the baddies with your binoculars on full zoom, keyboard switch to the M4 (don't move the mouse !), fire a short burst, back to the binoculars & repeat. You can take out enemies this way from beyond the M4's effective range & they have no idea of your location I can't wait for more CryEngine games, I also reckon it's light years beyond other PC game engines. Have fun !
  12. tried shortening the plug gaps ? 4-5k RPM is about where they usually blow out unless gapped down.
  13. check out Jaycar. They've got sub amps w/ inbuilt xover that will flush mount in the box. One that's stable @ 4 ohms should work well. Fusion recommend a sealed enclosure of 67L for that woofer, and it's efficiency is high @92db (1w/1m). Should work really well in a home setup. Max cone excursion of 24mm - That's moving some serious air if the amp can deliver stable high current. Make sure the box is high density & absolutely airtight. Wish I had that for my home theatre !!
  14. You've raised a good point, Zahos. moisture seems to play more in the faulty coil/misfire scenario than many of us had previously thought. I revived one dead coil and brought two DOA's back to life with silicon spray, and noticed the same corrosion @ the spring terminal. I still reckon heaps of gooduns get tossed, where the real culprit is condensation. My 2 zloty
  15. Hi Dan, sounds good. Could you give me a call ? I'm having major issues with Bigpond cable & it's very difficult to get online. I'm available until midnight tonight or after 6pm tomorrow. I'd appreciate it. 0410424470. Wells.
  16. Hi Dan, I'll take the M-Spec IF you'll ship to Sydney. Pls let me know if that works for you, Ta.
  17. Yeah, but I would be inclined to coat the inside with the goo that Telstra use for cable jointing to repel moisture. I don't know it's proper name - but it's clear & has the texture of grease. I reckon leccy wholesalers would have it.
  18. If you'd settle for 2 3/4" I could help you out...
  19. Is this a dual port actuator ?? your post is a little confusing
  20. Depends on the pump. i fitted a BNR32 pump to an ECR33 & there was some minor d!cking around involved, using hose clamps/nitrile rubber sheet & swapping the pickups between the two. Had I fitted a BCNR33 pump would have been a straight swap.
  21. Australia Post EMS page http://www.auspost.com.au/APC/CDA/Content_...57EMO19,00.html Don't sweat, man. Just take the parcel to the PO - they'll gladly take your money
  22. Hey Adz, The Do-Luck RXB arrived today, very well packed. Good feedback on its way ;-)
  23. Hi Arty, Received the oil sandwich adaptor but no thread extension can you post ASAP please. PM if you need my shipping address. Thanks maaate.
  24. L18 head onto L20 block raises the comp ratio, combined with higher lift/duration cams & redrilled/reneedled twin Hitachi SU's from the SSS + extractors is a very cheap power up combo, hunt around wrecking yards for the parts. If you want more from the L20 - you'll reach the point of diminishing returns, and Duncan's suggestion is spot on
