having a car complied has nothing to do with getting a car inspected. doesnt matter where the complience was done. complience is getting the car up to aus road safety standards with parts that dont come in the car standard in japan etc when your ready to get the car rego'd, you take it to regency park vis and they go over the whole car like they would it was defected so your best bet is to make it stock, clean and ready to inspection. edit: i passed with tyres from japan and didnt change the brake pads as both were good but best bet is to check both items and make sure they are up to standards like wear etc also check bushes

Cheers mate! Deffently excited! Only need my Santos securety ID and I'm set. Was booked to go out tomorrow but bad weather so not going out just yet. It was hard to get a deep breath with my heart beating so fast but after a few times you got used to it. Did it 8 different times all in different ways.

I can tell you now, it's deffently something I'm not looking forward to re-newing in 5 years time. Your strapped in and have to get the windows and emergency doors off to get out upside down underwater.

Front Page Advertiser : Restriction For Young P-plate Drivers

Exactly Dohmar, it was education of some kind even if it was the hard way and now you've learnt. If they had some gross pictures after drunk drivers crashed etc, shown to them at school or during training, movies even or whatever, if it changes the mentallity of just one person, it may have resulted in the life of 1 or more people. If you didn't get caught drink driving, you may have done it again and may not have been so lucky the next time. Now that you were cought, you've been educated (the hard way, yes) your not doing it anymore. Good on you for learning though mate. -
i might be keen on the motor (subject to condition) if you can list some specs and km's sorry for your loss mate

I know we've all done stupid shit when we were young and drinking was number one on the list come Friday, Saterday nights for some (I'd almost say most, lol) I know that I never spent more then $20 on booze when I was young, yet I could get stupidly drunk (goon bags etc. lol i know, classy) This in turn, leads me to what I've been saying forever, education is what we need. Just saying, "Don't do that, because........" wont fix anything unfortunetly. Hopefully that makes sence cause I'm way too tired haha The part I was trying to get across was the experience part, education! Where just going to have older, unexperience people driving high powered cars. Dont care about the age really, just still going to be noobs driving fast cars. You can still wrap yourself around a tree riding a scooter just as you can a Skyline. -
yeah only do it if your running more power then your stock injectors can handle or you need to change your injectors cause theyre stuffed.

so many people in here sterotyping other people because of their age and what they drive...... sounds like what im used to out on the road this better be one part of the governments fantastic road rules being changed to save lives. why cant they make advanced driver training part of getting your licence like what i and many other people have been saying for years? if the government stops p platers driving with more then one person in the car at a time during certain hours say hello to more drunk drivers. i know when i was young, we had a few mates who had been drinking while there was one sober one taking us all home. try and do the right thing and now the government wants that gone too. you think young people can afford taxi fairs? im all for young people driving non high performance cars but why have older unexperienced people driving high performance cars. just like scandy said. whats makes it ok for someone one day, not ok to drive a 500hp car to the next, they're legally allowed too. you can only get experience one way.... -
Does anyone know of any 32 gtst's for sale cheap. The motor and trans are going to be binned so wouldn't mind a rolling shell, or a cheap auto one but want the turbo brakes etc. Need it for a project, would like a black one but wont be to picky for the right one

-
