Gauges on my Stag are freaking out. Temp reads at full hot, fuel reads at full tank (when it's not full), speed wont read when driving, rev's just bounce on 1k rpm and wont really go over that when driving and the KM's are reading 999,999km when it should only have 60,000km on it (it's a digital readout) I've figured out how to make the gauges actually work though at times. I just switch it to on without starting it, let the gauges settle to where they need to be and then start it. This seems to make everything work EXCEPT the km readout is still at 999,999km. Something electrical I'm guessing and I'm not too keen to mess with electrics in cars ever again after a bad experience. Any ideas?

Would you happen to have the drivers side rear door speaker cover? Cheers

Hey what causes the dash to go all spastic? Fuel and temp stuck on full/hot, milage showing 9999999999km and not showing speed and revs just sit there bouncing on 1k rpm. It's in a Stagea btw. Cheers

I've heard something to do with the diff bush giving out and gearbox can if iffy. My dad had a BA and BF and both of them the interiors fell to bits, silver trimmings shrivled in the heat and the electrics gave out on the BA and the gear stick snapped off the BF. They where both under 10,000km when it happend. Nice cars otherwise Just spoke to dad and he also said he had PCM and bcm failures and the front brake lines needed replacing due to some dodgyness.

Hey, I'm after some 5x114.3 rims with legal tread to borrow for a few weeks to just a month tops. Must be the same sizes and offset all around and no smaller then 16" for the new car. I will pay for the usage for helping me out of course. OH, and I wont be driving on them very much as I leave for work for a couple of weeks. I just need something to put the car on.

Does anyone have have any cheap 5 stud rims for sale? Needs to be 16" minimun and same size and offset all around. Just need to get a car rolling. Cheers

Yeah, Sinergy charged me $50 to put water in my washer bottle and $80 to remove tint on my front two windows. Have it all on paper I think unless I gave it away with my car. Can do it all yourself and save yourself heaps.

The main part of this that is bullshit is, some people such as my sister had made the calls asking what is going on with her licence as she knew what had happend and paid the fine in FULL not in installments as she wanted to appeal the loss asap as she has to travel from port noarlunga to wingfield every day. She, as well as my parents were told on 3 different calls that there was nothing to worry about from the transport department! Now that they f**ked up, she can bot appeal for her one point taken off. Also as for the OP who's brother had got his road train licence. It's shit that they can f**k up so much yet we are always the ones who get bent over.

My sister and my parents called up asking what's going on with her points as nothing was sent out to them. The lady they spoke to said she had no points against her name and there was nothing to worry about. Also, as it was over 2 years she would have lost her licence, time for appeal has past so would have to fight it at her cost for up to 3 to 5 years extention. This is what was told to them when contacting the lawer who was handling the class action. As she also got her full licence between that, they are making her go back to p plates so the extention is harsher on p players. I had a 2 year extention when I appealed for 1 point. Was f**ked.

My sister is in the same boat. She contacted legal advice and spoke to some guy who said there is a class action going against this but it's not worth shit. Also said if you appeal the charges, the best you will get is 1 point for up to 3-5 years and if your in my sisters situation, back on your p2's for that time.
