Hey, Just wondering if any of you guys have read some good books on Japan? Travel guide, stories... I stumbled across a book called Hokkaido Highway Blues and am half way through it now, finding it very funny. Its about a Canadian who was an english teach and decided that he would hitchhike from one end of Japan to the other. Its not bad feel like I'm getting a tiny idea of what it will be like to live in Japan, the kinds of attitudes I might experience, why and as I said its pretty funny! Anyho don't suppose you guys would recommend any other books?

Man I'm 24 and I've had a lot of fun in those uni years, and i love the memory I've got for them. Get the car, you currently have no other real financial committments at this early age (I'm assuming thats true in this case) its a great time to enjoy that financial freedom.

I have this setup for sale, includes 900 degree lock to lock steering wheel (very realistic), with pedals all in a simulator with seat. would like $220 for it, I use it for GT4 and its an absolute crack up heaps of fun. Moving out of my place so i have to get rid of it. Another $100 buys you a playstation 2 with a controller and World Rally Championship 4. Heres some pics PM or post if interested

Vange makes a very good point, you will have a lot of equity in your property if you decide to buy outright. This can be used in different investments (eg shares, rental properties) and you can choose the level of risk your comfortable with, you'll also be pretecting yourself from any downturns in one particular segment as you won't be putting all of your eggs in one basket. I would definitly recommend going and seeing a financial planner if you can. I know you said you want to be completly out of debt, so it can take some pressure off you. Its worth considering what can be done to lower the stress on yourself and family while still using the equity that you've worked so hard for.

matty_tonkin you have PM. R32FOURDOOR: I once read a reply on these forums from you recommending FBI's services. It appears you have a lot of opinions which aren't very correct. Read more type less, you'll learn more and then when you do type maybe it will be more informative.

If anyone would like an auto for a R32 GTS-t, its only done about 63,000km (genuine). It was extremely tight when i took it out, i did a manual conversion and don't need it anymore. Come with 1 carton of beer and we can exchange!

I'm in need of some 16" tyres, anywhere from 205s to 225s, I would prefer 50 series. Does anyone have any new or near new tyres around or know a place which does good deals on 16" tyres?

If you could have a look MADGT4 that would be great. Yeah hard drives aren't that expensive anyway but I'm going overseas in a few months and need to save every penny i can. I'll have to keep my eyes open for fellow SAUers on the BF2 servers once i get up and running again!

My hard drive cried enough about a week ago now. It was only 20gb but it means that my computers no good until i get another one. Does anyone have a hard drive around the place that they want to sell or give away!
