As much as i love the GTR 34 i'd pick e46 M3 for my daily, the reason are simple,it doesn't attract cops as much as the GTR, it looks nice, it has nice interior and cool gadget, and for 3.2 litre N/A it has decent power for daily driving. CAI,ECU flashed and exhaust will do the job i reckon and besides you don't really need 1000 HP car for your daily. anyway for that price range there are other options such as merc AMGs or Audi's RS/S. if you want more torque go AMG, the new AMG with 6.3l V8 is just crazy in the straight line. but each to their own i guess.

GTR is a great car but it is not something that can not be beaten, sometimes it wins sometimes it loses Gees why do people make such a big deal out of it

actually there are many Audi A4 B8, Audi A5, VW R32, BMW 5 series with M kits,w204 c class with AMG kits, BMW e92 coupe. that's all in my mind at the moment. btw the evo X is not that bad either
