Got a few random bits lying around up for grabs. Prices firm. 1) Custom Hand Made Catch Can. $50 Not the sexiest looking thing but it was made specially to have 2 inlets, internal baffles running down to drop the oil and back then up for venting. Comes with breather and pirtek fittings and bits of hose. Mounting plate to sit on back of firewall with factory screw location. 2) Radiator Deflector $45 Bought from Just Jap and was fitted to S1 R33. Comes with instructions, grease and 4 bushes. 4) Turbo Tech Bleed Valve $10 Bought but never fitted. It's missing a spring and ball? 5) Steering wheel. $45 Brand new. Never Used. 32 cm wide. Faux carbon look. 6) S2 Wing. $15 Resprayed in 2pak Black (non met) but got scratched in storage. Details as per pics. 7) Sunroof Glass with lining and bits. $30 Has some rust but easily fixed for a spare as these are hard to come by. The Car Black 1995 Nissan Skyline R33 GTST Manual, Drivers Factory Airbag Series 1.5 Factory M-Spec. Factory Sunroof, No Leaks! 178K Genuine K's Purchased directly from Compliancer by me in Jan 2005 History / Background First and only Australian owner. Car was daily driven from Northern Beaches to Alexandria (work) daily for first 3 years where bulk of k's were put on. I have since moved to the city. Last 2 years, the car has been driven only on weekends. Last 4 months, the car has literally been sitting there as I got a work car. I bought a dual cab ute 2 weeks ago and as much as I would love to keep the car, it doesn't work financially or practically as I quit the office job and am now doing an apprenticeship. Car has never been written off, never been involved in major accidents, trashed, dragged or tracked. I have been driving for over 15 yrs and have a perfect record, ie, No speeding tickets ever and 70% NCB! Always meticulously maintained (5k with Motul) and cleaned (Meguiars) Mildly modded for aesthetics and realiability with the mandatory breathing upgrades as per most Skylines. It's a super clean, good base car for more serious mods or drives well just the way it is. Police and EPA friendly as it's cleared defect stations (height, noise, emissions test, etc) Engine: RB25DET, Modified Standard Airbox with Snorkel (100% legal) to suit FMIC (also have K&N Pod filter with heat shield) JJR FMIC Hi Tech Split dump pipe off turbo GTR cat. (EPA inspected and emission tested OK) 3.5" system with 4" Polished Single tip muffler (Nice note. EPA sound legal) New Custom Exedy HD Organic Clutch/slave cylinder. (Pedal is only marginally heavier than standard. Very driver friendly. 1st time I have replaced clutch since buying car, cars 2nd ever clutch, testimant to my driving style) New Exide Battery (3 yr warranty) Recently replaced all belts, ac bearing, gaskets including rocket cover, oil seals New Power steering hoses A/C recently regassed, Injectors cleaned Upgraded Alloy Radiator with Silicone hosing Turbosmart bleed valve Was driven on stock boost for first 2 yrs and 10psi since then. Never higher. Body: Car will come with a Carbon Fibre bonnet which I had on last year (looked hot but took off as it was getting too much attention) Genuine Nissan M Spec body kit with genuine electric sunroof Tinted all round (slightly darker than legal) Currently has S1 rear spoiler as I prefer subtle look but have the original higher S2 spoiler Shaved rear bootlid (key hole has been filled for a cleaner rear look) 18 inch black/polished lip wheels, 70-80% tread on tyres (Kumho Ecsta's 235/45/18) The body is really good with only the usual small car park dents and small stone chips. The biggest flaw is a dent over passenger front guard caused by branch getting caught between on country drive one day. Suspension: KYB shocks (damper adjustable), Tein Springs (I did have G4 coilovers previously but found ride too harsh) Front strut bar with brake master cylinder brace Interior: Boost gauge A-pillar mounted Blitz Turbo Timer, Pioneer CD/MP3 Player with amp and single 12" Sub, Climate control air-conditioning recently regassed Power windows, Power mirrors, Mongoose M80 Black wire alarm system with 3 point immobiliser and central locking, (insurance approved) New gear and hand break boots Things that need fixing? Am currently sourcing drivers window switch Front indicators work well but are fogged up. Interior is in immaculate cond with exception of 2 cigarettes burns which were already in car when I got it. Some small scratches on bottom of glove box which I added (easily fixed with 2nd hand glovebox if you can find one better). Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I have priced it lower due to the k's and am keen to sell to pay off the ute. It is a really good buy and would encourage serious buyers to have a look. No joy riders. Have posted on SAU first but will be cars sales next week when I get around to it Pictures taken after car wash and quick wax on Sunday. Photo's not enhanced in any way. Would probably benefit from a professional detail and clay bar which it has never had. Price: $9,800 ono 0406 370 292 Justin Randwick

$500.00 G4 Coilovers (Just Jap) to fit R33 GTST. Bought brand new from Just Jap. Been on car for 2.5 years. Height and damper adjustable. Don't know the spring rate. Sorry. Car handles extremely well. Recently changed jobs and the daily drive down Cleveland and Parra Road is proving too bumpy for me so have gone back to springs and shocks (as off last week) Sold as is. 3 in good condition with no leaks. 1 front appears to have oil leak. Have checked with JJR. New inserts available (approx $160). $500.00 0406 370 292 Justin

Wrecking R33 Gtst Series 1
Lost replied to bin's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Good luck with the sale Bin. Sorry to hear that you are parting it out. Drove the car 2 weeks ago and can vouch that it's extremely well maintained in everyway possible and power delivery thru Toshi's chip is incredible compared to my similarly modded S1 R33. The gearbox was way smoother than mine too. -
Man SAU Rocks! Talk about specialised knowledge. I will get it checked out. in the meantime, what could this mean to the performance? thanks again.

i wish it was more exciting than the title header... but it's not.. I can't seem to get rid of a squeal that seems to be coming from the passenger front of the engine bay. Only happens high in the rev range 4k++ and if I absolutely mash the accelerator. I thought it was the alternator belt and have since tightened it, this week changed to a new one. The clutch was slipping and I have got a new one this week. Any ideas what it can be? Thanks again!

Hey johnnillicte, My current setup seems to be working fine. Although what you have said seems to make sense too. What are the benefits of plumbing back into the inlet (beside legality). Will it scavenge more from the rocker? What's everybodies thoughts? Quite a few mechanics have seen the engine bay but no one has commented, surprisingly? Cheers, J
-
haha... I set up the catch can so that could be the reason why it's wrong? Currently, the 2 hoses off the top of the rocker cover is going to the catch can and it pretty much ends there, venting to the atmosphere. The previous hose back to the inlet has been blocked off. I always thought that was what was suppose to happen so oily air is not introduced to the engine again? Should I route one line back to the inlet? ie, the catch can has 4 points, 2 in from rocker cover to the top left, 1 vents to atmosphere (bottom line) and the other (top left) I should route back to inlet? Thanks in advance and thanks all for confirming S2? I checked the timing belt/cam cover and there's a lump on the left side facing out. This is S2?

Cars plated 04/95. Can anyone point me to an image with the lump?

Hey guys, Have been given some conflicting info as to which series my engine is. Can anyone confirm for sure? Thanks in advance, J
