Actually it is a resistor...thats all it is. It will trick your ecu into thinking the air is cooler [or something to those effects]. They have been seen to gain hp, but its much more reliable to simply do by adding boost or retuning. Anything cheap thats makes alot of power [either doesnt at all] or it will end up breaking more expensive parts.

Well after a long time out of this sight, i have found my favorite forum once again. I have been very busy with school, but am through with it now. I have a few questions for you guys. Would it be possible, if i found customers, to buy parts from you guys and have them shipped here? Would there be any hassle? Do you think there is any margin for profit gains through these transactions? Also, there is growing number of skyline owners here in San Antonio, though rare, i feel that they are still enthusiasts to go through the hassles of importing skylines (R32, 33, 34) to the US. So maybe they would be wanting upgrades that i could purchase from members on this site. Also, is Autsralia getting the NEW GT-R??? We get it legally for sale as a Nissan, not an Infiniti, here in 2008.

Hello everyone, i have made a few posts but now i will introduce myself. My name is Stefan and i live in San Antonio, Texas, USA. (no its not a desert at all...well a little west it is, but its thick ass woods where i live and a big ass lake near by. Here is a picture of my 2002 Acura RSX Type S on the shore of a cove near a friends house on Canyon Lake. So what would a R33 GTR run for in Japan? Thanks for that link, now i can get an R33 GTR for drift AND autocross instead of having to choose between the two (ofcourse i could run my current car in Autocross)

Yes i am moving to Australia anyway, but it wont be until Feb 2007. In my hast, i want to bring one state side for a track/race only car. I dont want to have it for the street. Just personal use in autocross and drift events. That way i can gut it and have a sick ass race car. Does anyone know what a R33 GT-R costs in Japan? And is there a switch i could buy for the GT-R to "turn off" the front diff for drifting?

IT? What is that? Im a car salesman for Mitsubishi here, so i could probably start the same over there. If not im sure i could get a job in a vehicle modification shop. Are there many of those (reputable ones)?

I know, America is so strict. They dont trust their citizens. No i havent seen or even had a chance to look for a job. Do you know if it is difficult to aquire a steady job? Ok. I live in Texas, USA and want to import a Skyline R32 or R33 for a track/race only car. Anyone that has a skyline for sale please post here. BTW, does anyone know who will ship a car. I need it brought to Houston, Texas so as i may pick it up conveniently and trailer it to my garage. Ummmm, well from what i hear Sydney is expensive. Im 19 and when i move there i will only have just turned 21. So i am looking for something around US 900$ a month ($1100AU). So Brisbane looks good and its coastal (im a surfer so i require salt water, 4'-8' surf and a view) LOL. If ya'll could help it would be great!

Probably brisbane now. Texas, is pretty cool, i like it better than anywhere else in the USA, because we are the republic of texas so we somewhat make our own laws. But san antonios car scene is huge! Lots of RX7's, MkIII and MkIV Supras, RSX-S (integra dc5), Mustangs(GTs suck!), Slowmaros, EVO VIII's, STi's, WRX's, Viper's, etc. and then there is usual ricers (civics, tercels, sunfires...all equiped with AutoZone fart cans and blue lights special intakes...LOL, HAHAHAHA!) But the cop presence is huge! If you speed in San Antonio you are almost guranteed a citation. If you race your car is impounded and you go to jail...if they dont crush your car and you DO get it back, you have to convert it back to stock before you can drive! BTW, i would never say "back in the states its better because". EVER. Im moving cause i dont like it and i want a more european relaxed lifestyle instead of a negatively baised judgmental rush.

Im wondering if it would be easier for me to import an R33 Skyline GTS-T to America from Australia (queensland) instead of Japan. I am guessing that ya'll have the same emission laws as we do (or a little closer). What do ya'll think?

Just a question? Is there something i should know ahead of time, since im an American (not proud) and am wanting to move to Australia? For example, when i was in France i was spit on and ridiculed. I dont want that. What i am trying to get away from is all the drama and crap America puts itself through trying to "police the globe". I dont think the rest of the world is our business, but the higher ups believe "the world will fall into chaos" with out our policing. So i am moving to Australia, cause ive never heard of Australia going to a big war and sticking their nose where it doesnt belong...i like that. So am i going to get spit on? What is the Australian Dollar compare to the American dollar? What is a website i can check rent for a place when i move? Any information would really help. And what is kw compared to horsepower?

Well i personally would rather have that as the new skyline than that V8 mid-engine peice of shit nissan is planning on selling here in america as an infiniti. Grrrrrr, if we get reamed out of one more great car, i am leaving early for Australia.

2007 Nissan Skyline R35 GT-R (just thought i'd share it)

I will be moving to Perth, Australia in March 2007! I cant wait! Ive been trying to find a Skyline forum or group (there is a small population here in SA of R34 and R33 (total of 7 known). But i want a 1966 Prince Skyline GT-B to import to America (since it is old enough to be exempt from safety and smog) So if anyone knows anyone who is getting rid of one i am looking to buy. I hope to learn and contribute to this site and i will look foward to meeting some of you in 2007. Thank you. Stefan
