  1. not quite as impressive.. but here are a couple from my place on mon night.. They are all 1280 x something.. (not quite 1280x1024)
  2. Interesting that a hydralic handbrake was fitted, any particular reason Tosh? It makes it look quite odd... He's only had it what, 6 months or so hasn't he??
  3. someone please explain this picture.. http://www.powerplayimports.com/minigal/in...TUNE&page=1 something doesn't look right..
  4. As long as you are starting it and letting it run for a bit every 2 or 3 weeks, maybe take it for a drive so your battery isn't flat - than i'd say nothing.. I honestly doubt you need to service it, check your oil, see how clean it feels and take it from there, just service it when you get to say 3,000kms.. otherwise what's the point.. you haven't driven it..

    I Was A Millionaire

I think they would force you to pay it back + the interest.. You should have taken it out, than told them it takes 10 business days to transfer back and get some interest out of it.. they like doing it to us.. Hmmm.. imagine transferring it and leaving the country.. sure, you wouldn't be allowed home but eh!.. it's 1 million $...
  6. North Shore has some interesting mix of people around.. Killara/Gordon - just have to be careful, especially late @ night, sometimes they hassle people just for shits and giggles.. Anyways, glad you got out of it alright.. If you know who they are, go to the police and report them.. Goto be careful as they might not have been visibly carrying weapons but some people along that line have no issues hiding them and using them on you..
  7. eXc, where abouts did you get your gearbox rebuilt, i'm guessing it was in newcastle somewhere.. $800 is pretty decent.. did that include labour of pulling the box out?... Also - how does it feel to drive, all noise completely gone?
  8. Well.. Just spent $90 + 3 hours washing, polishing and waxing the car... Pics: Used AutoGlym Bodywork Shampoo to wash the car all over.. Than used AutoGlym Ultra Deep Shine polish to remove as many of the scratches as possible.. They didn't have any Clay when I went up there which was a bit frustrating.. I noticed that this would certainly have picked up some of the water marks on the roof.. Polish did get rid of alot of dirt + some minor scratches.. Waxed with McGuiars canubra wax or whatever it was.. looks good, not the deepest shine, certainly cleaner.. and smells like wax now.. Would love to buff with an electric buffer... All up, I haven't done this in over a year (i know..) but i'll keep up the wash + wax every couple of months.. it stays garaged + only driven 2 times at the most a week... Forgot to add - My ARM FRICKIN HURTS..
  9. Recently just purchased a 7900GS... hmm.. FEAR is nice, got it running pretty well however I think a 7900GT would be a better buy.. I got the GS OC (overclocked version) runs at 1400MHZ/500MHZ 256mb DDR3 ram.. What would I get instead, either 2 x 7900GS, or if possible save your cash and get 7900GT.. just check out reviews around the net.. also - i'd try and get something with 512mb ram.. but that's not cheap.. Don't bother overclocking your machine, it's fairly simple the gfx card is the bottleneck.. Get 2GB RAM as well.. it certainly helps now..
  10. here we go: Whatcha gonna do.. whatcha gonna do when they come for you.. Noisy bastard.. Can't forget this one.. "Yeah i'm the audio guy and this is my camera man"..

Great run from the "road with trees down the side.." through to the start of old' pac - those cheatin evo's haul ass - same with the Supra.. Oh and Got bitten on the foot by the ant.. nothing beats my mate though, in the car just after we got going again - Ant was hiding in his pants got bitten 3 times on the ass.. well worth the wait @ the stop to see him trying to kill the ant while I was driving!! Thanks for organising Mona.. We left after old pac as we're heading up to the pub now for lunch.. Glad everyone made it home nice and safe!!.. Mintie loved the drive by.. sounded well mean.. Links

This next one was taken this morning @ about 8:00am as we were in a holding pattern waiting for final descent into sydney airport.. I hope everyone enjoyed.. I ended up taking about 1000+ photos.. and might put some more up as I find time.. Cheers Links

    Swap Safc Neo

Are you still interested in a Turbo XS Knocklite.. PM me as i'm back in Aus on thursday.. Links
  17. You can still exceed the R&R value.. Another problem is the timing goes off the adjusted value not the new value so it picks it off a lower point on the ECU map.. I believe there is ways to get around this by using higher flowing injectors so that even though you are lower down in the map it is injecting the correct amount.. blah blah.. something along those lines.. it's all been discussed before, search for sydneykid's thread on SAFC
  18. If you don't need to upgrade it BB I probably wouldn't bother..
  19. Every second Silvia drifter wants to put the R33 gearboxes in.. so the prices went through the roof..
  20. GT2 is great, it's been keeping me entertained on my trip around the US..
  21. It's actually very easy to upgrade to 3.03.. just follow the instructions they are very very good.. If you need to files in a simple compact archive, let me know and i'll send you a link..
  22. I've moved on from HPI.. has to be something pretty decent in it to buy it now.. Get Autosalon more now instead.. There was a thread about this 4 months ago.. alot of people were wondering why there were so many ads from the same company the editor owns.. Always an interesting topic of convo aussie car magazines.. BRING BACK SPEED.. not the best I know, but atleast it had more than 50 pages in it.. Although I don't mind autosalon..
  23. I do believe that shannon's do.. or atleast they did cover track days for an excess price + a higher premium..
  24. The one thing you'll find on SAU is that not many people have had their gearbox rebuilt.. most just a) put up with it.. b) get a 2nd hand gearbox for $1500 and go with that.. Just ring some places, get a couple of quotes and than tell everyone on here how it went.. You will be looking at about $1200 - $1500 though..
  25. $3150.. Jeeps.. that's a fair bit.. brand new that's pretty sweet.. Hmm.. i'm figuring a rebuild to come in at $1500 so i'll do that when the bearing goes..
