  1. Also - as everyone usually says - go and get a full service.. e.g. Engine Oil - filter, gearbox oil, diff oil maybe spark plugs as well.. Althought they are "meant" to be changed at compliance - no guarantee and it won't hurt prob cost a couple of 100 but it'll be worth it..
  2. Dezz - if you remove them from your car - can you let me know as I wouldn't mind putting them back on mine - they're missing from when it arrived .. As for 97's being 40th annv.. well.. could be some however majority are just SII not 40th annv.. however i'm not going to tell you it is or isn't - you can possibly check in FAST but can't remember if it says it is or not.. Did you get A-LSD? How many KM's does it have on it? How's it drive? you happy with it?
  3. check that it is a direct fit.. i'm pretty sure it's a direct replacement on a GTR however i'm not sure how it can be on a GTS-T as they have a SMIC not a FMIC.. probably not a huge amount of point putting it on if your not going to boost it at all.. you could put it up to about 10/11psi.. but that's about it..
  4. Looking great guys
  5. Should go and get Race Driver 3 Might get a steering wheel - would be much more accurate + pedals would def help.. Oh - and mines GTR lapping Tsukuba.. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/7282A98...4B8A911A228.htm
  6. Hmm.. i'll have to start busting out some laps.. in the xanavi gtr I get about 46secs.. might have to see what I can do in a R34 Nur.. i'll update later.. so sports tyres are the go? Wouldn't mind a steering wheel - you got one beer? personally using the controller..
  7. Mark, Sorry to hear about your child and I hope everything is ok.. Also keep up the good work, everyone appreciates what you do as you have produced an amazing product.. And as you have seen from 44 pages - still has a huge interest As for the copies, i'm hoping you have patented the design and can look at legal action if you start to suffer too much.. Keep it up, mines still going strong and makes the car even better.. Cheers Links As for: interesting to see how you guys stress over the possibillity of loosing $22, explains why you are buying these valves. have you tried one out of interest? Best damn $22 i've spent on my car..
  8. Will do V-spec - it's back at the workshop as we speak getting the bonnet replaced, than he's pulling the gearbox out and going to pull it apart.. hopefully he can see what the problem is when it's apart.. if it goes back in and i've still got a whine i'll murder someone - however I think i'm right on it being in the front bearing.. see how we go..
  9. Possibly a bearing on the way out - i'll let you know what happens with mine when it gets fixed (if it does)..
  10. Wow.. $495... that's.. ALOT.. anyways.. good luck with them - i'm sure someone will buy them as they are damn hard to come by..
  11. thrust bearing can only be heard when the clutch is pushed in.. Have you had a chance to get someone to look at it Ruffels? Most likely I think it will be something on the input shaft side - as it happens in neutral and that is the only main shaft spinning.. Currently i've got mine in for another look as he couldn't work out what it was the first time.. You may need to get the gearbox reco'd or looked at - is it happening in all gears than slightly quieter in 4th?.. as that's what mine does..
  12. QRI05E - what your having happen is possibly the duel boost solenoid switching from 5 to 7/8psi hence the increase in torque as it's running higher boost.. Cutover point is 4,500rpm.. Is your car pretty modified much?
  13. 0.66/0.68 bar is the stock for >4,500 rpm on R33 - so run it up there otherwise your losing out.. as for 0.75 - well.. mine spikes to that on occasions.. see how you go - get your FMIC run maybe 0.7/0.75.. been discussed alot before - people recommend 10psi daily max and 12psi max full stop out of stock turbo as the exhaust wheel tends to desintegrate..
  14. Same as Sir-D's turbo timer - however mine sits in where the ash tray used to be in a 33.. than the dude made a piece of plastic to fit around the opening.. came standard with the car .. in a 32 i'm not sure
  15. Nice work mate .. looks like a great car - seems to have almost everything.. hope it's all going well..
  16. Can I possibly spectate? / amuse myself watching everyone do laps? i'll probably not be driving - but I can't 100% for flag marshall.. hence the spectate (oh and if this was mentioned earlier - I haven't bothered reading pages 2 - 6..) soo feel free to abuse
  17. While my gearbox is still playing up - I don't wanna push it to much.. sounds like it's gonna be a good weekend enjoy people..
  18. Should be less than 70 bucks.. you get them with a clutch kit however.. so maybe see how your clutch is feeling at the same time.. Unique Autosport have them..
  19. Mechanic is pulling it apart next week - see how we go!!..
  20. That's cool.. mechanic is pulling the box off again on tuesday - went up and saw him.. he's gonna pull it apart and find what the problem is.. which is schweet! Might be something has just come out of balance - yeah I can feel a vibration - however that could be the new clutch + machined flywheel as it didnt' do that before.. Hopefully we'll be all sorted next week..
  21. Video for anyone interested: http://www.crankroom.com/videos/gearbox_issues_r33.wmv
  22. got a video this time 2.. http://www.crankroom.com/videos/gearbox_issues_r33.wmv 5mb..
  23. Yeah - sorry if I confused you ferni.. Its def not the diff - i'm aware of that.. and hence quite a bit pissed off and will have to take that up with the mechanic.. I still believe this issue is the input shaft bearing as in neutral while revving there is no load really on any of the gears as they aren't engaged. I'm still weighing up my options - as well as cooling down a bit to re-think what it could be..
  24. Thanks for the support Karlos.. Have to wait and see.. I'll probably take it to a gearbox place in the next couple of weeks after i've done some km's in it to see if it fixes itself.. Chances are I don't think it'll happen.. but we can hope..
