  6. with 12psi.. it's likely to Rich and Retard.. most likely get say 170kw, or 180kw.. 190 seems high.. even with all that..

  9. Everyone has missed the other way to tell.. There should also be a boost gauge in the centre console if i'm correct.. It should have a -7 0 +7 measurement on it.. +7 being about 13.6PSI as it's in x100 something something's.. can't rememeber anyways.. have a bit of a read up on how turbo's work.. for a turbo to produces positive boost it has to spin up to 40,000+ rpm which is done by the exhaust gases of the car.. once it's spooled up (can take a bit of time, that's called LAG) it'll start producing positive boost.. that's when the needle goes over 0.. at higher RPM exhaust gasses flow @ a higher volume & therefore car will come on boost much quicker.. @ low RPM it takes time to spool up.. accelerate in 3rd from about 1000rpm and watch how long it takes to spool up.. enjoy..

  11. leech_ & FSTR32 - the issue he's talking about is different.. when he pushes his foot in you can hear it squeak.. mine does it.. plus a lot of others cars.. do a search - someone else had a thread on this.. amuses me when i'm in traffic.. sounds like someone's rooting under my car on a squeaky bed..

  13. this may seem stupid but, check that it isn't a rock stuck in the tread of the wheel.. or a piece of metal.. run your hands over all your tires.. i've had a similar think.. but it will speed up with you obviously.. fecking annoying.. otherwise.. i've got no idea what it could be..
  14. Do a search man.. it's everywhere.. +7 = 13.6PSI.. so it should run below 1/2 way upto 4,500rpm (5psi) than a little bit over 1/2 way > 4,500rpm(7/8psi) as the solenoid opens..

I've had a read, as long as the car meets ADR 36&37 (emissions) and ADR 28 (exhaust noise) than I don't see why there would be an issue.. there may be particular rules that I haven't found.. e.g. you can't run a non oem ECU on your car.. but i'm not paying $30 for the current ADR's.. as long as your car passes.. than insurance companies should cover the car..
  22. So is replacing your ECU with an apexi power fc legal, providing the car meets emissions testing?? which means you can than have it insured with one.. do you have to get it engineered for it to be legal..
  23. Stan - make sure that you double check that it works on R34 GT-T autos.. Maybe get someone who can read Japanese to check the HKS site.. Or find out if anyone else is running one.. Just looking at the site myself, yeah.. it says "A/T" but.. that doesn't mean it can run all of them.. HKS sounds like a good choice otherwise.. DAMNIT.. google translate SUCKS ass..   24. 0 cars 4WD > 2.4L running RB30/26.. 1 (no. 3) in RWD > 2.4L.. Go with what you thinks best Thommy.. and go the tomei setup.. I reckon it'll be a sweet engine.. what do they do about warranty.. get it packaged nice and safely!!..
