  1. What boost are you running? Are you sure your clutch isn't slipping..
  2. We recently fitted the KKR-480 to an RB24, which made 256kW at the wheels on 1.35bar boost. That's the HPI R32 project car, check the last issue for some details if you are interested..
  3. Goto say that site from Mashrock has to be one of the most informative "parts" guides i've ever read.. anyways.. sounds good.. go for the built engine..
  4. Jeeepers.. that's not good.. anyways - yeah what are the KKR's like.. problem is no-one has had them on for probably more than 6months.. what's gonna happen in 2 years?.. is it gonna have an issue or still be going 100%.. could be a case of "you get what you pay for"..
  5. it's about 150rwkw..
  6. The one in my avatar is the nissan factory option front bar.. however looking in nissan fast there was only the normal SII one and the one i've got from what I recall..
  7. As CC said.. depends.. look at the state of the car, the interior.. look at the engine bay.. if it's got mods, chances are someone has driven it a bit harder than if the car was stock.. it's all relevant..
  8. Mine does about 15L/100km's.. pretty crap.. but who cares lol..
  9. do you have a passengers side seat belt latch thingy.. the thing the seat belt is clicked into.. mine's got a crack in it near the button to release it..
  10. Well done on resolving the issue.. i'm guessing ABS is still working correctly as well..
  11. I think you definately want flexibility on who can tune it for you.. worst thing is locking yourself into somewhere, knowing that if something goes wrong.. they are the only ones that can help you..
  12. The xede looks like quite an interesting system.. http://www.xede.com.au/files/XEDE%20Tuning...%20Version).pdf Main advantage you are going to get is that your ECU will handle the auto transmission, so this should be able to be used perfectly well I guess.. you can also adjust the timing easily enough.. On the site - says you can use it with an R33 skyline, what's the difference in signals from the R34 to the R33 going to be?? You can also control a boost solenoid as well stan which means you could possibly wire in the stock boost solenoid to control your wastegate.. Maybe an option.. depends on what deal + the support you can get, haven't seen the haltech one really, couldn't find as much info on their site.. any monkey with a laptop (and a some practical knowledge) could tune with the xede.. maybe talk to hitman and see if they would be able to use it.. and make sure he's 100%.. looks like a good option just noticed.. Rob82 is in brisbane.. we're all in sydney..
  13. Still running the stock exhaust stan.. have to get that fixed than.. dyno day is coming up soon lol..
  14. hmm.. wow.. that's a nice power increase for a relativly stock car.. well done..
  15. I've got pioneer 3-ways in the front, would def recommend getting the splits for the front.. As for the rears.. well.. you'll have to hack a bit of the back up to put them in as it's a structural support for the car.. Try and get an amp and do it all at once.. the Splits will be much better than..
  16. Hmm.. strange question.. anyways - because a) it removes the stock boost solenoid b) turbo spools up quicker c) you car raise the boost slightly 5/8psi - 9/10.. d) why the hell not.. who says you need to hack your car to put a FMIC to install a boost controller.. what happened to your car joni?
  17. Hmm.. what to do.. that is the difficulty.. what are you trying to achieve.. make the A-LSD work with a Power FC or work out a seperate way of running it?.. the only thing I would suggest is possibly replaceing it with a mechanical one?? .. would be a waste though however may be your only option.. Short of rigging a stock ECU up purely for running the A-LSD.. do you have any other choices.. - i'm not even sure if you could do that..
  18. Usual story.. act like an idiot, they'll happily slap a sticker on you.. Personally I don't have many issues with the police, than again my car hardly sticks out like others.. Chatty/Hornsby area isn't too bad, I would say Hornsby is worse than Chatty for police "trouble".. Considering the size of sydney to adelaide.. I doubt you'll have many issues with cops asking you to "move on".. Plenty of places to go.. plenty of places to enjoy a drive.. As for north shore - good choice .. plenty of SAU NSW guys live up there.. As everyone said, check out the cruises.. i'm sure they will organise another pizza cruise soon - I better come on the next one instead of being lazy..
  19. Do you know where abouts in sydney you will be living?..
  20. hmm.. 31+.. damn.. maybe goto court get it down to 15-30 that way you don't get your license suspended for 3 months.. otherwise.. well.. he's just going to tell you that it was faulty, you knew it was faulty and you should have got it fixed.. or don't drive.. meh.. good luck with it though..
  21. Out of interest people, what's the highest amount of boost you would run on a Stock RB25DET internal engines.. Oh - and he's running a Bosch 040 fuel pump..
  22. Looking good mate, will be interested to see how it all goes when you've got the injectors + ecu.. 16:1.. WOOOOHHH.. not good.. you would have had it like that for a while.. hope everything is a-ok internally.. what PSI you gonna run when you finally get it all up and running?
  23. http://www.jpnz.co.nz/home.html you obviously haven't looked through some of the front pages posts..
  24. Did it have any little surprises in the engine bay?
  25. Spotted black R33 without a rear wing.. got a wave.. gave one back.. AWS-***.. near northbridge shopping..
