  1. Any chance that someone who's a member can show us the full article.. PLEASE!! Well done mark - hope your sales pick up from it..
  2. Not gonna happen unfortunately as that is what identifies that car as being unique.. if they did that than you could use it to rebirth a different car.. Try calling them - however I dont' know if they will help you - it's a bit like the service log book.. you get 1 with the car, and they don't sell them at all - if you lose it - than that's your problem. Stops people from producing fake log books atleast I guess
  3. Lol - no worries Baron and cheers to anyone if they can get the R33 owners manual up.. if it's bound - you could unbind it than put it through a scanner - but it would take a fair while..
  4. Very true - would agree with SteveL - makes it 100x easier when trying to track down the exact part number especially between different series of cars..
  5. Blue import plate should have some more info on it.. i'll run it through FAST but doubt it'll show much as it doesn't look like a correct vin - should be HCR33-****** something like that.. i'll check it tonight..
  6. Looks like a good turnout.. until I got to about photo 30 where the commodores arrived ..
  7. Hmm.. pity I didn't go - mates had full access pit-passes.. might put some pics up if I get a chance.. was still hungover and dissapointed from the day before with the Drags not on that I couldn't bring myself to drive out all that way again.. oh well.. next time - sounds like it was good - rang him right in the middle of the second race, couldn't hear anything on the phone - they're pretty loud.. but I think the F1's eclipse them...
  8. fatz i've pm'd you..
  9. I do believe the "gentlemen's agreement" has gone out the window - and really.. was just written on the specs but in reality was never followed..
  10. 26th is good.. .. but i'm just watching..
  11. Stick scramble boost in google.. it'll give you heaps of responses.. as already said: Scramble Boost Function When the SBC button is depressed a preset boost increase will occur for a preset time (0-40seconds). Remote Scramble Boost Trigger compatible Lets you put a button on the steering wheel that'll give you extra boost for a set period if required, similar to in the indy cars where they can get 10s of extra boost when they press the button..
  12. Email the RTA - they have a link to ask technical questions and they will give you the direct answer.. once again I do believe it is because of this ^^ that you need one in your car..
  13. The boost gauge hose actually comes from the back of the manifold if i'm correct. If you look at the engine from the front of the car, than look up the top left of the engine bay you should see a small plastic hose plugging into the back of the engine up the top it's about 3mm piece of hose and than goes back into the firewall.. I'd check that and see that he hasn't pulled it out or blocked it..
  14. Husnu, if you check in the General Things area of my site there should be something in there.. it's a word document.. pretty sure it has all the parts in it.. http://www.crankroom.com/sau/Skyline%20Gen...ING%20PARTS.doc Cheers Links
  15. I do believe that if you don't have an H pattern on your manual gear stick - you do need one located nearby - this is probably a safety thing as well.. maybe in case someone needs to drive your car?? bit strange - but could be like the turbo timer law's... either 1) make one with a post-it note or 2) i'd suggest getting one printed at a sticker place..
  16. Nellah - can you please scan the contents section of the R33 owners manual so that we can take a look at what it's got in it..
  17. Stuttering could sound like it is going into rich&retard mode, this can usually be if you are running too much boost and it'll hold or hesitate for a second before picking back up.. - are you running stock boost.. - what other mods have you got.. - which engine exactly is it? have you had a chance to plug in a consult cable and check that all your sensors are doing ok + maybe raise the idle RPM to see if it makes a difference, don't believe this is permanent - however it would give you an idea.. also try using calumsult which lets you record the data, go for a spin than check back through the ignition timing so on and so forth, it might help isolate the issue at 4,000 rpm..
  18. Hmm.. does sound very much like you have a flat battery.. I wouold see if someone can jump start you.. that way you'll know pretty much straight away..
