Goto say I put off getting a car for almost 6 years.. finally ended up getting my R33 gts-t.. my thoughts are - if you don't need one yet.. save a bit more.. get something special, reliable and in great condition.. don't settle for second best just cos..

yeah - email Mark: [email protected] -
Possible but quite unlikely - as everyone said - check the condition of the car.. if you find - worn gear stick, worn stearing wheel, paint peeling in engine bay, worn seats than there is a good chance that the kms are wrong.. Personally I got a 98 R33 - and it had 69,000 on the clock.. I tend to believe this a hell of alot more than the 4 x 1996/97 ones with exactly 60,000 or 64,000kms which is not realistic when you look at what the engine bay looks like..

I'm uploaded the files to my server.. http://crankroom.com/sau/RCS/ username:sau password: august The 3 x rar files are the original - this has the torque splitter.. The 1 x zip file is the updated one from this thread...
-
They won't increase - hmm.. so it puts a rev limit on even if for example it's doing 5500rpm? won't go over? might just be the limit of calumsult.. i've got the Sourcecode for it - so i'll see what I can do with it..
-
goto - http://www.gamefaqs.com - do a search on GT4 - goto faqs it'll tell you where to win what..
-
Managed to corrupt my game last night.. goto start from the beginning.. hadn't played for a while and was just getting stuck into it again.. got pissed off and turned it off half way through a save.. DAMNIT!!..
-
I'll put it up on my server tonight when I get home for all of you.. There is a slight difference with this one and the original I have.. my original doesnt' have abs or tcs "lamps" - but does have a nice torque splitter in the GTR's.. nice to see how it works.. i'll put up mine as well if I can find it.. see my sig for details on accessing the site..
-
True.. Still - would be interested in seeing what it would do without the speed cut..
-
Do you have a copy of liveedit out of interest.. very hard to find..
-
Yeah i'm guessing if I get that and also a EEPROM reader/burner should be able to do some stuff.. I've also got my hands on the calumsult sourcecode - so i'll be making some modifications to that and hopefully - if I can wrap my head around it - add things like checking hicas and a couple of other features not implemented.. we'll see how it goes..

Hey guys.. I'm looking at developing some software to use with consult - was wondering if anyone has one that they aren't using anymore that I could get off them.. PM me if you do.. Cheers.. Links

Wakefield Park Video - In Car Camera
Links replied to justinfox's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Was looking at the best way to secure a camera.. might do a run somewhere and get it on video.. see how it goes.. -
hehe doodz.. was just stirring.. yeah - let us know if we can have a service day.. case of beer coming someones way..

dyno graph.. As you can see the speed maxes out at 180kmph @ 5500rpm..
-
Well the ecu line does - however there will be overspeed where the momentum of the Dyno + the cars engine will keep it speeding for a little bit than it will stop doing it.. i'll post up the dyno sheet + ecu info..

As some of you may or may not know - Satanic - R34 gtt, myself - R33 SII and Doodz - R33 SI went to a dyno day.. We all managed to dyno within 2kw of each other: Satanic: 156.0rwkw Myself: 156.5rwkw Doodz: 158rwkw Now I thought - "shit that's alright - running pretty close for reasonably stock cars".. The only problem with this is that Satanic's car is an R34 gt-t running @ 10psi which should give it a atleast 10-20kw more than mine and doodz's car.. From this I checked out our dynos and noticed that the peak of the curve was @ pretty much 180kmph - or as some of you know the speed cut off for R33 and R34 gts-t and gt-t's.. I than went and checked out the datalogging from my car when I had the consult cable in and noticed that my car reached 180kmph @ 5,500rpm - and flat lined from there to redline 6,800rpm.. ***************************************************************** Could it be possible that what happened is our cars all reached the same power level @ 5,500rpm or 180kmph and than the power dropped because the car was no longer accelerating as it was at it's speed limit? ***************************************************************** There was a second R34 gt-t there that ran 170kw pretty much stock - this would be more inline with a 208kw RB25DET NEO engine - which is what satanic has.. I've got a feeling his speed limiter had been removed as his car had what looked like some slight changes in the engine bay - but running stock boost.. Thoughts people.. I want your thoughts.. What level in shootout mode did people dyno @ in their stock R33/R34's.. cheers, Links

Have you already paid for the car? Was there any clause in the bill of sale regarding what type of car it was that they were selling you and which VIN. If so than you have a legal standing.. The best outcome is you take them to court and get them to pay for court fees + get your money back. Have you paid with bank cheque? because you could ring up the bank and try and withdraw the cheque.. You could also contact the police and see if they have any suggestions.. doesn't hurt. Good luck with it all.. Be careful of lawyers though - they charge a large amount of money - and it doesn't neccessarily resolve everything - be prepared to possibly lose and have to foot the bill..

98-97 R33 Gtst M Spec Vs 90-91 Gtr
Links replied to woodsy144's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
It'll cost more than an extra $2k.. don't forget all the extra on road costs.. a 98 R33 is going to be just as good/well made as a 98 R34.. -
Check the wires and see if they are cut or not.. mine are cut..

Well i've taken a look at the S13 .bin files - the file I posted above is for Romeditor so that it knows how to load stuff up.. What you do i'm guessing is you edit all your maps - your low and high octane fuel maps and so forth.. save a bin file.. than write it to the chip.. This is pretty straight forward - but might have some hicups - such as fcuking your ECU/eeprom chip. In Romeditor V2.5 which is for Honda's you are able to check what the Air/Fuel ratios are - which would be very nice.. as you could tune the mapping to an appropriate value.. I'm still wondering if this is really all worth it - or whether you just get an Apexi with the PC software for $1500.. One advantage I can see is you can control the amount of boost - as you should have direct control over the solenoid like an IEBC. more to come as I find it..
-
I'm now currently trying to get my hands on the Romeditor 3 - latest version.. aparently the R33 ones are quite hard.. but I think if I can get my hands on a spare ecu maybe.. or maybe just the cips.. not a huge fan of pulling mine apart lol..
-
Cheers guys - yeah i've been taking a look at some stuff.. i've got the romedit - i'll have to look into a eeprom burner - where would be the best place to get one from + you need the correct eeprom chips.. i'd probably download the original - push the image onto a new one.. than test it and work from there.. You can modify your fuel ignition maps according to RPM or Throttle Position so i'm guessing I could therefore change the Air Fuel ratios by dropping the values of the fuel in the map over an area.. Similar to an apexi I would have thought..

Looks like I might have to get in on the bandwagon next time.. was a bit low on $$'s last weekend after fuel + dyno day + doodz toll touring experience - but should be right for the next time.. when we looking - 2 weeks time maybe?? you goto wait to do your filter now don't you stan?
