  1. Ok.. i've decided to setup an ftp server/hosting - with about 10gigs/mnth bw.. i'm doing this out of my pocket - for my own purposes - however i'm happy to let it be used for hosting of manuals.. i'll trial it for a month or 2 and see how it goes.. at the moment I only have the R33 service manual - however I will try and get the R32 and R34 ones.. i've seen them around and provide access to people that require them.. I will put up further details once available - unlike the last one - this isn't hosted at my home, it is proper web hosting.. so don't flame me and say i'm trying to do this or that.. just wait and see how it goes. Cheers, Links
  2. when i get my server up and running again i'll put up the R33 service manual.. just goto buy a new adsl2+ modem.. upload will be at 100kB/s.. so might set up a bittorent or something.. not sure yet.. will keep you posted..
  3. Wouldn't get the same one's made.. that's my thought's thought ^^ for that reason.. ppl tend to steal them to use them for bad reasons. BTW - it's stole - not stall, and it's steal, not steel - sorry.. just irk's me.. anyways - hope you pull up behind the ****ers one day.. would be very satisfying I think..
  4. www.torrentspy.com - they have a number of option videos..
  5. this is in the vic area as well http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...d.php?p=1458048 Bec - you going in the Dutton rally.. might look into the NSW one next year.. still deciding on whether to put my car through it or not..
  6. Hey wait a minute - Skylines Australia Victoria Article.. Page 73 - suggest ppl go and get this edition.. has: Robin February - XXXGTR James Ward - GOLGO Jack Blanas - Ash Cosgriff - Peter Blythe - SBE - *** Adam Nightingale - Andrew Richmond nice work fellas - cars are looking good!!
  7. Just letting ppl know latest speed magazine is out.. Page 16 has a picture of GOLGO's GTR and SKY 003 Must've been from a cruise, got the letter of the week, don't think the image is associated with the article.. Anyways - just thought i'd let ppl know.. edit: has an article on 3 x GTR - comparing modified vs. stock.. 1. R32 GTR (450kw) 2. R34 GTR (~350kw) 3. R34 GTR vspec II - nur.. *drewl* (206kw). very nice.. interesting read.. hmm.. plus there is a comparison of 6 x gtr's.. having a chat to the owners.. 2 x R33 - 2 x R34 - 2 x R32 - all black cars.. man. they got on the Skyline GTR bandwagon this month
  8. Fair enough - be interested to see how it turns out putting them in the R33..
  9. ^^ *quietly chuckles.. true true.. Would have thought a pair of GTR seats would be better.. wrx ones aren't that much better than the standard SII ones.. Are the STI seats different to standard wrx ones?
  10. Spotted HCR-32T.. we were sandwitch'in a cop car through chatswood .. amusing.. saw another R33 gts-t car on the way up near newport AWP *** I think.. can't quite remember..
  11. 1998 R33 gts-t.. prior to that.. never had one .. but been driving for long time - used parents cars/brothers car on and off. live near the rail line though
  12. Just buy an anti-lag kit lol.. keep it spooling all day long..
  13. ^^ make sure you contact them before asking people advice. Also find out how long it's been on the market for and than try and work out why.. if it's still there 3 weeks after the ad.. than it's probably not a) a good buy, B) over priced or c) if it's a R33/R34 GTR than don't even worry.. Most cars will go within 2 weeks of advertising if they are in pretty decent condition and the price is right.. hence ^^ it's already gone.. good luck though - personally I don't think 69,000kms is right.. try 130,000+.. but that's my thoughts.. might have been garaged for the last 10 years.. work it out - that's less than 5,000kms/year.. hmm..
  14. That's not 100% accurate that list - missing the 98 40th anniversary R33 Gts-t's.. soo.. nfi - maybe your lucky!! Maybe the owner paid more for the factory option??
  15. Funkymonkey how'd you go putting up the brochures for 98 40th Annv- i'm keen.. If I could speak japanese i'd look at the options for R33 in FAST.. unfortunately.. i don't..
  16. ^^ read my mind..was trying to find that site before.. nice work only thing is doesn't have the 1998 R33 GTS25T Type M® 40th Annv. not many sites do..
  17. Spend the money and get an R32 GTR.. only a little bit more than a R33 gts-t (newish) and it's gonna have 26DETT.. and it's lighter.. sounds like a plan to me..
  18. The recommended nissan oil grade is - 7.5W30 I do believe (off the top of my head, you can check the service manual for this) Speaking to nissan guys - they recommend either 10W40 or 5W30.. if your driving it hard - think a couple of the guys on here recommend 10W40.. plenty of posts on it - do a search - but advanced - and make it all topics including those >6 months.. default search is newer than 6 months - you miss alot..
  19. Fair enough.. was just interested.. yeah - you get higher airflow, which can mean that you get boost coming on earlier unless the front mount cancels that out.. Still not sure about higher boost in colder - as the wastegate should activate @ the same PSI releasing extra boost - however - my mate's 180sx runs higher boost when cooler as well.. so who knows.. As for running 12psi boost, there has been previous threads about it.. would be advised if you are running that amount to put an FMIC on the car as your running nearly 2x boost through stock item - might have trouble cooling it, leading to pinging..
  20. Tend to warm it up atleast until the oil temp stabilises.. once it's there - i'm happy.. it's happy.. not good for any cars to just start up and thrash off, can cause a bit of damage - I think.. might be wrong though.. bit like stretching before going for a run eh! if you don't do it, you'll regret it.. if you do - everything is sweet..
  21. Thanks for that funkymonkey, just did some searching on www.google.co.jp - under gts25t type M 40th and came up with some stuff, goto love googles translation tool.. i'll check it out though - hope to see them up soon.. am interested - my car has about 80% of options on it - only thing that is missing is.. Nissan - momo steering wheel.. and a couple of others.
  22. anyone got the catalog for 1998 SII R33 - or have pics of options - this is great, never would have thought there was soo many!
  23. Cheers everyone, confirmed my thoughts and also what I was told by the nissan guy - who has been very helpful with telling me a number of things that I wouldn't normally know. Told me the following: 1. To get a key with the central locking remote on it will cost me $375 2. The key design dates back to the 80's and you can just get one cut anywhere 3. one from nissan with black nissan rubber on it will cost $12 4. straight key will cost $8.. soooo.. think i'll just go and get one cut.. and tell the lady to shut up and key my key damnit!!
  24. 1998 SII R33 Gts-t 40th Anniversary with gtr front bar, gtr rear wing, hicas, rear sway bar. 70,000kms $21k. oh yeah - it's got an exhaust + blitz DTT.
  25. Hey people - i'm trying to find out if the keys for 1998 R33 gts-t SII are chipped or not . My belief is they aren't as it doesn't come with any form of immobiliser with the car, however the locksmith was telling me they did. I want to know if I can get a spare cut at a locksmith - or whether I have to spend $100 to get one from nissan? Also - will anything happen if I use one that doesn't have a chip (be like it having a flat battery in it) I think the locksmith was a punk telling me not to do it. -> So - anyone know? i've read a previous thread and that was for a Gt-t and their worked, i'm assuming R33 will be the same (being older).. Cheers, Links
