  1. PM Please
  2. Was some absolute tool in a XR6/XR8 ute that had no brain capacity at all. Why idiots like that turn up to a japcar cruise and do stuff like that is absolutely mind boggling. Surely there would have been a fantastic mullet and moccison festival that he missed out on. Cheers, Stu
  3. Please PM me with details Cheers, Stu
  4. Yep, I'm still around. Check the forums maybe once or twice a week. Haven't posted much in ages. Cheers, Stu
  5. Legend. Thankyou. Cheers, Stu
  6. Did anyone get any decent pics of the black 1600??? Cheers, Stu
  7. Couldn't agree more. Pick a date, time and place and post it. If they can't make it, bad luck, they can go on the next one. Cheers, Stu
  8. Hey Peter, Thanks again, was a bloody good cruise. Good group of guys, good roads and great pace. Excellent work on the meet time and the depart time. 10-15mins waiting for people to turn up and then leave. None of this hanging around in carparks for hours. Kamal - hope your stomach has recovered. Cheers, Stu
  9. Brendan, As I think I said in my first post "You'd want to be a bloody good rider, to be making statements like that. " Sounds like (from what you have said) you are a good rider. I think the reason you have been coping a bit of flack from everyone is that you seem to be posting lots of statements about how good you are, how much money you have spent and how much money you have. Therefore making yourself a bit of a target. You probably didn't mean to come across that way but it's hard in words to get your point across. Anyway, I think any comparisons between bikes beating cars on tracks have no bearing on a hills run. Dedicated race tracks and the Adelaide hills have nothing in common. There has been lots of discussion about what's quicker bike or car. I think the actually point that was raised was in the hills with lots of tight corners (not open high speed stuff) that bike riders would not necessarily be "spanking" anyone unless they were a bloody good rider. No one is debating that a bike would kick a cars arse in high speed or quarter mile times. At the end of the day you can have thousands of dollars spent on cars/bikes and still get your arse handed to you by a lower powered car/bike with a better driver/rider. End of story. At the end of the day, most people think they are the best driver/rider in the world. It just takes a dose of reality (someone faster) to come along and put us back in our boxes. Me included. Cheers and hope to see you on the next cruise whether on two wheels or four. Stu
  10. You'd want to be a bloody good rider to be saying stuff like that. As I'd take you up on that challenge any day. Cheers,
  11. Nothing like adding your 2cents when you weren't even there. Was good to meet some guys I'd not met before. Sambo, Jason, Chris and Pete was good to see you guys still with us at the end of the night. It was a nice bunch of cars. Apologies to those that got lost, due to certain 'boy in blue' episodes we couldn't stick around at a couple of corners we normally would have waited at to regroup. Catch you next time. Cheers, Stu
  12. Looking forward to it. It's been awhile since we had a midnight run. Cheers, Stu
  13. It shouldn't have been called a 'cruise' it was more of a carpark hop. It went like this: 1. Meet in carpark 2. Hang around in carpark for 1 hour 3. Drive to next carpark 4. Hang around in carpark We had enough and left. Not sure what happened after the second carpark and really don't care. Would advise anyone that likes 'actual cruises' to avoid going to these carpark hops in the future. Absolute joke.
  14. Allrighty, I have been putting my lunch time to a good purpose. Best score is now 310,483 See if you can beat it. Cheers, Stu

  18. Don't ask people where, what time, or when. Make a decision and those that can make it will say so and those that can't will miss out. Can't keep everyone happy. Let me know where & when, am looking forward to it. Oh and as to what we want to see on the cruise? One word 'CORNERS' and lots of them. Cheers, Stuart
  19. Hey All, It's been pretty quite lately. Thought it was about time we had a run this Friday night, PM me for details if you are interested. Don't reply to this thread. Cheers, Stu
  20. As always, count me in.

  22. Hey Matt, Won't be able to make it but hope you have a great night. Happy Birthday. Stu
  23. Hey Jager, The SAU crew that usually show up to our cruises are people that have had their licenses for quite some time (eg generally no P platers). The group are generally not mad drifters, etc. That said, we don't exactly have any rules for who can or cannot join in. However we usually drive at a good pace :uh-huh: but are generally responsible, mature people. We enjoy having fun but choose the right time and the right place. Thankfully SAU is not a club it's a group of good people with a common interest in cars. There are no politics that are usually associated with car clubs. Geez, I sound old. Kym - I am very sad, I have kept every cruise route from every cruise I've been on. Dan & myself have come up with about 5 more which are great fun. Look forward to catching up with you again soon. It's been a long time. Cheers, Stu
