  1. i would say not really. as the sleaves center the tube in the nut. is the straight pipe you get anneled? otherwise it may crack when flared. also finding a 37 degree flaring tool with a die for 12mm tube may be a challenge. 10 bucks a meter isnt to bad.
  2. i like the gold annodised centers. or just black? CCW WHEELS
  3. not really, mostly race compounds. hawk, pfc, mainly. ive used a few differant types. the pfc.01 compound is really good. from dead cold to orange disks.
  4. r32 generaly over 20 offset. 10's will go on front provided there is some neg camber. check on your wheels there should be a sticker on the inner rim. (prob coverd in brake dust) wipe it down with a dry rad. not thinners as it will rub the ink off.
  5. having no gasket will not make it rub.
  6. minimal? how much? only takes less then a 1mm to contact. has the pump gears broken?
  7. what "electrical gremlins" were "sorted out" before the tune?. using onboard map sensor in the ecu, or an external one? doyou have the full injector dead time figures (8-16v)? if not SET THEM TO ZERO. remove injector resistor. set injectors in the main set up table to the propper setting.(drop down menu explaines) was it tuned throttle over map, afm,or just map? ve or injection time? set coolant temp correction to zero and warm up. (all this will have to be done at the dyno) injector latency is not nessesary, all it does is add a time to each event. if it is not set correctly the thing wont evan start. (had the same issue at work with id1000's. there values were heaps differant to the default haltech ones. changed them and started first kick. so if you dont have the exact documentation on the values, set it to zero as it will make tuning and cold starts uber hard with the varing crank voltage.
  8. only when the thrust bearing on the mains wares out.
  9. yes. 400 for little 16mm pads is horific. just think, 2 pad changes and youve almost bought a set of forged monoblock race calipers with titanium pistons.. fyi using evo pads in the f40/50 caliper lowers/widends the contact area buy about 10mm. but they are thinner.
  10. reminds me of those home made shit slinging cartoons on youtube.. vtec vs rotary etc etc
  11. yes... did it come with a fitting instruction sheet?
  12. who cares, as long as it cooks 3rd.... lol.
  13. uas does a heap of nistune stuff. 400 should get you out of trouble. provided you dont need anything else. ie fuel pump, afm etc etc. quote dave
  14. 2kw
  15. that should be a given, running a map sensor ecu.. btw awsome choice. need to get more bw data over here. im in the process of putting a 9179 on my gf rb25.. on a 6 boost. twin wg.= better but a pain in the ass to set up. pic of turbon old manifold. .
  16. on the fuel rail, unbolt the stock reg. use the adapter you bought with the reg for the nissan fuel rail, that with the new efi hose you have. that goes the the side of the ts reg. the bottom of the reg goes the the tank.
  17. we MAY be putting 2 of theese on our slot car.. 3.5L 25psi and e85
  18. ok , so theese are dimentialy the same, just not actually made in japan using quality materials. but are one of the better "bing whoa" coppies?
  19. well without making it to complicated, here is a very well proven setup that will get you the results. 260 poncams, in cam +3 to 4 degrees advanced, ex cam -4 to 6degrees retarged. valve springs, port matched ex manifolds and 2530's on 24-26psi will have it in the bag. (ecu injectors fuel pump stock dumps and a good exhaust)
  20. so whats the differance between theese and the genuine mitsu units? i only ask because we have a td06sl20g at work that has crapped the thust bearing, and to fix is over 2k but i see whole chra's for 500 dollars. whats the diff?
  21. 16 guage is fine. i have single and twin core. i work at UAS. pop in and il give you some.
