THATS OK SORTED. btw the 1 inch ones are bm52 bm57 is the 1 1/16 aka z32 and the silvia ones have a 20% reduction and the skylines/z32 have a 40% reduction. the spring is interchangable but still a wast of time. i went a gu patrol master. bm57(big one with no valve) as im using a adjustable proportioning valve. is better but not perfect. the rear calipers need bigger pistons to clamp harder (4x27mm) need to go 4x32mm) all a waste of time so far. just a better pedal. im getting a proper pedal box cheap with masters and balance bar etc etc. (cheaper than rear calipers lol) i think its the piston ratios that are not suited to a 50/50 split. for referance it fronts are 40.3/44.5 up from 38/44.rears 27/27

  10. if your going to smash it thru the gears either a dog engagment or an auto. doesnt matter what gearset you have. if it crunches it WILL break. ie..synchro engagment

  15. pretty much once there is a knock its rapidy waring out the crank and the rod. once its a constant knock its time for a new crank and rod. oil pressure is not an issue. it wont matter

  17. haha just like in the oe car. lol. hrmmm thats why my nice neat mitsu gto coil pack dunt work very well with my 500r cdi. lol but my chunky mazda s4 leading coils are the shissel. massive spark. just containing them in the leads is the hard bit.

  21. justr to pugt your minds at ease. with my recent brake master thread. ive fitted a 1980 patrol master. (completly diferant style and about 20mm longer) to mine no dramas. s15, bolt on and im curantly using a gu patrol master. 1/1/16 with no proportioning valve(im running a wilwood bias valve) if its a nissan and rwd and r/h/d it will fit. common sizes are 7/8,15/16,1,1.1/16. inches. only isssue is the proportioning valves are all diferant. for example the s14 one reduces by 20% to rear barakes. z32 by 40% so you will find unless you put the s15 valve in the rears wont work as hard and you will cook the fronts.
