i drove one the other week. i thought it was standard just abit more bity. i had an argument cos i thought he was bullshittling it was a tripple lol. unbelievably easy to drive
bigger is not always better
for the track 1 big thermo is better. (davis craig are shit so dont bother.)
you need to use a oem style one. out of a magna or something
all the adapters are available to do it properly and have no smell. pirtec for the factory barbs on the sender. and earls/speed flow for all the otheres.
no the only thing that over speeds a turbo is boost. not leaking bov.. cos if its not making boost its no got the same leval of exhaust going thru the turbine making it spin.
yeah the porche ones do get fatiged. the metal goes soft. and yuo get leaks and so on. and there cheap enough anyway. i think the going rate is 750 each for brand new ones from spare parts.
but.. the pads are uber expencive
nar. il get a patrol master. i tried with a early 15/16 cylinder and it was worse. but it think its the fact there an imbalance on the size of the pistons in the calipers
basicly so yuo can go out to the track with the exact amount of fuel on board so your no wasting wieght. on the v8 team i was with it comes in with 1-2l left in it.
its all about saving wieght
stainless isnt crap. but it isnt as durable as steel. the factory gtsr manifold is awsome. but its a factory engineered item. not a copy of a copy lol.
the pipe doesnt crack its the welding wich givs way. if its not done corectly.
