  1. throw the 040 in the bin, get a s300sx 63mm (putting a s300 66mm on annas rb25 atm, will see the differance compard to the t04z its replacing.
  2. dont be weak, get some real calipers that take 30mm thick pads! only have to change them once every year or so.. with track use.. and if a common racing caliper pads can be had pre bedded for less than 150 a set.
  3. using a db1346 pad from a v6 4 runner has a fair bit deeper anulas. and are thicker by about 2mm per pad. so, if using a GTR caliper on the 324x30 upgrade you get thicker pads and a better contact area. hawk do a perfomance compound. ferodo ds2500 is very old hat. there are many better comounds and brands available. pfc for one. also cheaper...
  4. but having the ability to get a completly CUSTOM wheel. is 11 with the perfect offset fiesable? yes, cock rims ftw!
  5. gtk is all well and good. but not that good. half ball bearing with a fansy paint job and ported comp cover. i was going to get one (the 850) but i could not find much info on the results as many people prefer bw or garretts.
  6. tefzel being "etfe" dupont milspec 2700 series.
  7. well i have about 2kms of various 16,18.20,22,24 guage twin shieled and single strand tefzel wire.. your location?
  8. are theese rubbish china turbos with a badge thats made in japan?
  9. yes. later ones are identical except not painted black on the body
  10. hi all. i am thinking of getting some custom wheels for my track gtr. what is the widest rims that will fit in the back of a r32 gtr? while i was searching i found theese!
  11. the head gasket will have to be almost 3mm thick.. as the 25 piston pin height is about 2mm further down.
  12. lol. one would asume its allready got aftermarket rods doing a "freshen up"......
  13. the gearstick is the transfer case oil. if its got oil all good. atf does get abit fumy when hot.
  14. just use rb26 pistons. 25 rods the the same length.
  15. OR.. you coild use 2 110v heaters wired in series to make up for the 240 volt here..
  16. the method of using steam will not work. it will simply boil dry before the oil has heated up much at all. it will heat it a little. i cant see it making any flow unless you have a condensor somewhere in the system. or it is a total loss system with a popet valve on the exit of the oil cooler with less of a relief pressure than the little header tank you intend to use. having it plumbed into the cooling system is a no go. i wouldnt want any extra air getting into the engine. either way it would have to be refilled and bled each cold start. it would be better to just use a coolant heat exhanger instead i think.
  17. how about using a water/oil heat echanger for the oil cooler. we have one in our race car and it works a treat. heats the oil up and keeps it at a fairly constant temp.
  18. for garret. i would choose a gt3788 borg warner would be the 88-75 both will give you good power and decent response. but id do a search and make up your own mind.
  19. yes. you need to either back all the throttle stops off or apply throttle paste. i would be re-setting the throttles.
  20. i had a route 6 in mine. i think,, anyway it had a tall first then quite close. sort of in between stock and a ppg.
  21. any pics? i have a set of new rb26 ones here i could compare, mayby they are the wrong retainers.
  22. set it to zero and have it tuned.. all it does it add time to the beginning of each injection time event. and this changes with batt voltage aswell. generaly more time as voltage decreases.
  23. because it will have TD06H-25G as a part number, T67 is a td06 turbine with a td07 comp wheel, 25g is a td07 frame compressor, and td06 and td06h are td06 frame turbines. hope that helps. much like the oldschool t3/t4 combos
