  1. if you ont mind running 1.5bar+ go twins to get the power.
  2. 8 grand is fine. the idea is to not rev it past that. and not rely on a oil pump destroying rev limiter. oh its a "800hp" item. 11.7@ 116mph and boost is 1.2 bar.
  3. ive got a set gatering dust in my garage
  4. just save up. simple. if you tight ass the most important part of your car then just get a commodore or something instead. lol. no ofence intended
  5. there pretty, thats it.
  6. i only like it coz it says pantera on it
  7. are you the dude who looks miserable?
  8. agreed. but its cool fun smashing a gearbox and driving home on it without stopping so it doesnt bind up
  9. about 50 kilos. im not a big guy but ive no problem lifting it. hrmmm i wonder what i could get for my very low kay r34gtt box with nismo clutch???????
  10. yeah. sounds like its had it. has it got the smelll that comes with?
  11. the diff might not like to be sitting on the crossmember
  12. they are lighter. but.... "only" rated to 600ps. the benifit is worth it if you have the budget. most of the time its not worth the effort. unless you at the poiny end of your class of racing
  13. ar yes. the old to thick carier issure. i should point out there needs to be flop in the clutch fork to if its a twin you need a 12mm-14mm spacer the bearing is a datsun 1600 item. (small diameter running surface)
  14. there identical apart ftrom the na one only having single syncros. not twin. so it will crunch easier and therefore brake easier
  15. s15 arms are the same length. r34 arms are also the same length. if in ought get out the tape mesure and seee
  16. with STANDARD SWAYBARS front 7-10k rear 5-7k with aftermarket bars take 30% out. so if ya get whiteline ones id setle on front 6k rear 5k ish. but you have to remember the light er the spring you get the better the shock (damper) has to be. i used to run k-sport shit. f 9k rear 7k was ok but very choppy. with no corner speed at all. if your on a budget id pik the ones (coilovers)that come with the lightest springs.
  17. why do you want swaybars? ps. the stiffer you make it the less traction youl get.
  18. oh. and for referance a v8 supercar uses a 375mm rotor with 6 pots under 17's
  19. it should. concidering you can get 355mm and big reds (f50 brembo kit) under 17s with the right design
  20. corect me if im wrong but the skyline multi link rear end is clasified as a "double a arm",virtual upper a arm" to get the right amound of angle change there pivot points are seperat.(bit hard to have one moumt where the wheel is mean to be lol. but they are one arm in motion. so you need to do both for corect arm geometry. other wise it will be like one side of the virtually both being twisted as it goes up and down. hope that makes some sense.
  21. DONT GET KONI i work on a whole heap of nissan sports car club cars and most of them are pissing out/full of water and generlay bieng shithouse. i think the bilstiens are a much beter buy
  22. single for the win. one you go single you cant go back. ive driven a few rb26,s most with twins. 2530's gtss,34n1 all were pretty good. but they felt quite lasy and were slow to boost. ie.. they start building boost quite low but dont reach the target boost till quite late. the norm with those was 1 bar at around 4500 in a meadium loaded gear. thats the same as my t04z. with less power from the twins. i persomaly prefer the single. maintance is easier and it looks tough. but you kinda loose the rb26 howl at hi revs. but thts ok the external gate makes up for it
