  1. all well and good, but what about pad and disc replacement costs? i prefer to stick with a nascar type pad wick can be had new dor less than 200 bucks, also 25-30mm thick...
  2. oxy or gas torch. 5 mins a side heat up till grease starts melting/smoking. slide hammer with a m10x1.25 nut on the end of it. 1 sharp pull out she comes. more heat slide the new one in by hand. put the 12mm bolt back on. done.. with out heat (heat gun is not enough) you will be struggling and probably damage the knuckle or the new joint on instalation. ive done lots and lots. this is the best and easiest way.
  3. cool, cheap upgrade for r32..
  4. the offset of the 33+ rotors is to great. the disk will hit the lower arm on bump.(gtr) 25mm disk offset.
  5. gotta love the datsun-ness of it all
  6. petroject sell them brand new. (in a mitsubishi box) buy the time you pull the old one apart and if the bearinga are ok, its best to just replace with a whole new one. there are a number of differant part numbers as they changed manufacturers from hitachi to mitsubishi..
  7. well your idea is used in the new turbonetics "newgen" external wastegates. seems to work well. for an engine its no good. youve got hinges and shit + the way the valve works will not provide a evan mixture into the cylinder.
  8. we had a pretty breath heavy rb30 at work. (1,2,3 15-20% leakage 4,5,6 10-15%) it had the oil drains going to the drivers side front of the sump. oil came UP the drain hole on the dyno... if anything id leave the passenger side drain and block the drivers one and see how you go.
  9. WHATEVER!! not right away anyway.
  10. AUTRONIC SOLD. CDI,SMC,COILS,AUTRONIC CAS + HONEYWELL CRANK HALL SENSOR, GTR LOOM.
  11. stick a s14 or 15 subframe one in as tey fixed the rear roll center (with offset solid bushes)
  12. just to clarify. the new 33 gtr boxes have both sets of holes drilled and tapped for pull or push clutch. well i just bought a BRAND NEW nismo 370z 6 speed for 1600 usd ...... shame they dont sell them over in the us.
  13. have a power fc? sometimes they loose the throttle output to the attessa. first up check the tps voltage at idle. 0.4 is the norm.
  14. cool! now i know what caster arms i have shorter spacer to the inside. you can tell when you put them in. it should line up easy. if not twist them around. the rubber boots i find hold in water and rust them out quicker..
  15. i agree. ps, where did you find 17x10 rims?
  16. cp pistons? ps. all oil returns to the sump need to be below the windage tray and on passenger side.
  17. if you can get a r3c youd be better off. so easy to drive. well they all are. but the tripple will last alot longer
  18. the wait for these is crazy. if i had bought one last year id of flown over by now.... i hope they start getting here for super lap..
  19. i wish. out the front turning the drivway into a beach. then 2hrs of sweeping and scooping later... not going awd. engine will have to be to far forward. mayby in the future when its all running and im sick of no traction..
  20. they are good. some say they are the best, but i have my reservations
  21. in the "standard" journal size there are a number of grades. because when the crank is ground its ground to a cirtain tollerance. not an exact size like you get when building up a new engine. ie: at nisan there isnt a guy standing next to the linisher with a mic checking it as it goes. hope that helps.
