  1. welcome to the puck clutch standard issue stuff. nothing to wory about
  2. technicly it is. because its not "directly" atatched to he wheel hub. but the term floating axle does not apply to ALL independant suspentions. only live axle equipped cars
  3. race brakes (specalised brake and clutch) in st marys should be able to do all that for you
  4. hmmm. ok. youl need a range of wetn dry paper. 600-2000 then use a buffing wheel with the cutting compound. (big block of stuff) then with no buffing compound go over them. it should take roughly 1-2hrs each wheel. alternativly you can take them to a metal polisher. i got quoted 200bucks each.
  5. the stock ones are the best. end of story. if you just want the noise : then any workshop with a welder could do it for you. a bov regardless of type can hold infinate boost. if hooked up corectly. "pascals law" lol if its got boost presure trying to open it. its got the SAME boost pushing on the other side keeping it shut! aswell as whatever the spring tension is aswell. so its imposible for it to leak physicly. unless the seat area is worn obvoiusly i tryed 2 hks ssq ones and they didnt work for shit. well they did work. but the amount of compressor surge i was getting was retarded.
  6. no comment. untill you actuallly work out how long it takes drivein-drive out. including fitting chinese shit that doesnt line up at all : its a pretty normal price. this is you suplying the parts? loosing profet on not selling parts is also a reason
  7. spotted my tumnus wile i was driving a red gto with my thumbs up
  8. vic... hicas in a 33 is eletric il have o check it next time i see you
  9. wtf. are you retarded? please wtf. lol
  10. cool. this is rhe procedure.. start the engine and WITHIN TEN SECONDS!! turn the steering wheel 1/2 turn LEFT hten RIGHT 5 times then depress the brake pedal 5 times. this will put hicas into a diagnostic mode.(dont drive it) it will take a few gos to get it. its hard to do all that whithin 10 seconds lol when its inttalised the hicass light will flash. turn the wheel left and right asnd you can see the rear turn. use this procedure for inserting the shims into the rear steering rack(they wont fit otherwise) as far as the electrics go ??????
  11. or.. you cold drop into a subaru dealer and ask one of the mechanics for some shims of a wrx. (the same) as you get new shims with new subi pads and i had a sizable pile of them i through out aopn leaving
  12. just have a look at the afm elements. if theres shit all over them just clean them gently with some brake cleaner. NOT CARBY CLEANER!! see if that hepls. but il be looking to the fuel pump/presure.
  13. cool. glad its not me your on about
  14. also z31. 200zx rb20 both are rare as :
  15. its only input (if factory or powerfc) is the neutral switch. so any varieation is a coincedence. ie.. diferant load on the rollers etc etc. so if the revs rise up faster the afr meter will lag abit
  16. the vlturbo is getting old. single syncros,f**ked ratios, pretty oldschool and im pretty sure they use the external shifter like a z32
  17. get a 33gtst or a z32 clutch kit. your 33gtr clutch is 250mm pull. the z32(300zxtt) is 250mm will fit 99% sure the 33gtst is 240mm (same as vlturbo rb30 patrol/fj20t/rb20t/rb26push/prety much any turbo rb or fj with a push clutch
  18. tru tru but a quick mesurement reveals that all is reqired is to move the lower arm down at the outer poit the same amout as its been lowerd to return the roll centre to stock
  19. what air filters have you got?
  20. ok. next step.. aply a direct batery voltage to the fuel pump. (run a wire from the batery to the fuel pump and a direct earth wire to the negative of the fuel pump aswell) basicly to eliminate any fuel pump controler issues...wich are common
  21. standard valves are good enough for the magority of 1000hp rb26's
  22. thats pretty boring : sory to hear valves them selves are very strong. as theres usaly only about 80-120lb presure at the seat. my work has recently seen that titanium retainers n shit arnt all trhere cracked up to be as it droped a valve at 9grand coming onto the main straight at oran park they fatige badly and just snap. say 10k worth of driving. what retainers are you using. and are the springs not "stacking solid" at full lift? there must of been a fault with the retainer/collet or a fractured valve. or they could not of been propery instaled. all of wich are a posibility
  23. postage interstate conciderd
