  2. what series vq is it. vq35de or vq35hr? i just got quoted 3700 for a 350z box brand new from nissan parts australia. 1650 +600 shippinf from the us. for a brand new 370z box. same price for hr/de boxes.

  4. a standard replacement or one to suit a twin plate? they are differant. the twin plate one is a smaller diameter.

DRY SUMP SETUP FOR RB26 FOR SALE!!! $4500 ono all top quality gear. 5 STAGE DAILEY ENG ROOTS SCAVANGE built in scavenge return manifold ans pressure relief. -16 in to pump pressure -12 out 4x-12 into scavenge 2x -16 wiggins out. included are a wiggins clamp and some very nice -16 hs79 hose. ($230/m new!) rated to 1000psi teflon nomex/kevlar the best hose money can buy. a 3 gallon patterson tank and a set of -12 scavenge pre filters (not pictured) ross race series rb26 balancer r33gtr with drive mandrel for pump. and the belt and the bracket. mounts where a/c goes.

  8. well the astra pump works ok. i installed one in the uas zed. its quite heavy. and on full lock it draws 75AMPS, at idle with no steering its about 25A. these pumps were designed to be mounted very near the rack. one thing ive noticed is a slight lag in assistance as its mounted in the boot and has 4 odd meters of hose to the rack. (any hydraulic gurus chime in) we used -4 teflon. mayby -6 with a restrictor would of been better but once your going it feels fine. they run at full speed 100% of the time. the electronics inside keep the pump at a constant rpm and feed in current to compensate for the pressure.

  11. pics of nismo oil cooler/condensor and engine up tomorrow. engine was built by me and has the folowing clearances for those intersted. piston to bore: 2 thou big ends: 1.7 thou mains: 2 thou cold oil pressure 7.5 bar. 2.5 hot @ idle using full synthetic penrite 15w40 (sponsed out race cars) PS. ENGINE HAS A 9 LITER BAFFELED SUMP. AND STOCK FRONT DIFF.
  12. front and rear diff may be up again. just reminding that its a complete ready to bolt in rear r32gtr diff with shimmed 2 way (nismo upgrade kit) and loose front crownwheel and pinion with matching spacer

  15. valve springs wate gates diff gears. my mistake its a complete rear diff with a shimmed up 2 way. ready to install. extra $300. sorry guys.
  16. just so we are all on the same page, its the front crownwheel and pinion with the spacer. and a rear diff with pinion installed and the ring gear with no center. (use your centers for both diffs)

  20. or you could be dodgy and just leave the attessa pump cable tied to the top of the diff. (in a jam its ok but not the prettiest solution) so yes, bolt in. provided you can secure the pump.
